By participating in the sauna and/or cold plunge experience at Madre Tierra Wellness Farm, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that the use of an infrared sauna and cold plunge involves inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to, dizziness, fainting, dehydration, overheating, changes in blood pressure or heart rate, shortness of breath, falls, cold shock, hypothermia, loss of consciousness, and other physical reactions or injuries.

I voluntarily choose to participate and assume responsibility for the risks associated with sauna and cold plunge use.

Health & Personal Responsibility

I understand that sauna and cold plunge use may not be appropriate for everyone, including individuals who are pregnant or who have certain cardiovascular, blood pressure, neurological, respiratory, or other medical conditions.

I affirm that I am responsible for determining whether I am physically able to participate. If I have any medical condition, take medication, am pregnant, or have concerns about whether sauna or cold exposure is appropriate for me, I understand that I should consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating.

I agree to listen to my body and immediately discontinue use if I experience dizziness, nausea, difficulty breathing, chest pain, numbness, confusion, excessive discomfort, or any other concerning symptoms.

I understand that I am responsible for remaining hydrated and for entering and exiting the sauna and cold plunge carefully.

I will not use the sauna or cold plunge while under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that may impair my judgment or physical awareness.

Self-Guided Experience

I understand that this is a self-guided wellness experience and that Madre Tierra Wellness Farm staff may not continuously supervise my use of the sauna or cold plunge.

I agree to follow all posted instructions, safety guidelines, time limits, and directions provided by Madre Tierra Wellness Farm.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with participating in this experience and release and hold harmless Madre Tierra Wellness Farm, its owners, employees, contractors, instructors, representatives, and agents from claims arising from the ordinary inherent risks of my voluntary participation, except to the extent liability cannot legally be waived.

I understand that this experience is offered for general wellness and recreational purposes and is not medical treatment, medical advice, or a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.

Emergency Assistance

If I become ill or injured while participating, I authorize Madre Tierra Wellness Farm to seek reasonable emergency assistance on my behalf when necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical or emergency-service expenses.

Agreement

By signing or electronically accepting this waiver, I confirm that I have read and understood its contents, have had the opportunity to ask questions, and voluntarily agree to participate in the sauna and/or cold plunge experience under these terms.
