Los Angeles Surf School
Los Angeles Surf School is a community-focused surf school dedicated to helping beginners and enthusiasts of all levels enjoy the ocean safely and confidently. Our mission is to create a welcoming environment where students not only learn to surf, but also gain essential water safety skills, ocean awareness, and proper surf etiquette.
All lessons are led by CPR and BLS certified instructors who are former professional or competitive surfers, bringing years of real-world experience to every session. Over the past 10 years, our team has coached more than 2,000 students, helping them progress from first-time paddlers to confident wave riders.
Whether you’re stepping onto a board for the first time or refining your technique, our small-group lessons emphasize personal attention, hands-on coaching, and safe practices in every session. Beyond technique, we foster a sense of community, encouraging camaraderie among students and respect for the ocean and fellow surfers.
