Beginner Horseback Riding Lessons at Madhouse Farm

Beginner Horseback Riding Lessons are officially starting at Madhouse Farm! 🐴

Our weekly beginner program is designed to teach riders more than just how to ride. Lessons will include horse safety, grooming, groundwork, handling, tack and riding skills as each rider progresses.

Each week includes two 1-hour semi-private lessons with a maximum of only 2 riders per group.

Monday | 6–7 PM
Wednesday | 5–6 PM
$150/week | Includes both lessons

Every rider progresses at their own pace. Your first lesson will focus heavily on learning the foundations of horsemanship, and riders may not get on the horse during their first lesson. Riding time will vary based on experience, progression and trainer guidance.

Each rider will also have their own Madhouse Farm Rider Journal to track what they're learning, their progress and what they'll be working on next.

Looking for one-on-one instruction? Private lessons are available for $100/hour. Message us directly for availability.

Cancellation & Missed Lesson Policy: If you need to miss a lesson, please notify us at least one day in advance. Your missed lesson will be credited toward a future available class. No-call/no-shows or cancellations made the day of the lesson are non-refundable and will not receive a class credit.

If Madhouse Farm must cancel due to weather, horse care needs, or trainer availability, your lesson will be credited toward a future class.
