Welcome to Mother Core's Mommy & Me Pilates
This class is designed as a gentle, intentional movement experience for moms and their little ones, at any stage of motherhood, including pregnancy. It's a space to reconnect with your body, build strength from the inside out, and share meaningful moments with your baby in a supportive, welcoming environment.

We'll move through a slow, low-impact Pilates flow focused on core stability, posture, and breath, with modifications throughout to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you're expecting, newly postpartum, or simply looking for a moment to reset, this class is for you.

Baby-wearing is absolutely welcome, and little ones can also relax on a blanket beside you or be incorporated into certain movements, creating a special bonding experience for both of you.

What to expect:

LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE FORM

By signing this document, I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions in connection with my participation and my child’s participation in Mother Core classes.

1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that Pilates, including Mommy and Me Pilates, involves physical activity that can be strenuous and may carry inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of injury. I acknowledge that both myself and my child are participating in the Program voluntarily, and I assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of participation.

2. Medical Clearance
I affirm that my child and I are in good health and physically capable of participating in the Pilates classes. I have consulted a physician or healthcare provider and received medical clearance for physical activity, if necessary. If my child or I experience any discomfort, pain, or health-related issues during the Program, I will immediately inform the instructor and cease participation if needed.

3. Release of Liability
I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the Pilates studio, its instructors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action that may arise out of or in connection with my or my child’s participation in the Program, including any injuries or damages sustained during or after the class.

4. Parental Consent
As the parent or legal guardian of the child attending the class, I consent to my child’s participation in the Program and agree to be fully responsible for my child’s actions and well-being while participating. I also understand that the instructors are not responsible for my child’s behavior or actions during the class.

5. Photography and Video Policy
Mother Core may occasionally capture photographs or video during class for promotional and educational purposes. Mother Core maintains a child-privacy-first policy: identifiable images of children (including faces or names) will not be used or shared publicly. Photographs or video may include adult participants’ faces and may include children only in non-identifying ways (such as back views, covered faces, silhouettes, or partial/detail perspectives).
By participating, I acknowledge that photographs or video of myself and non-identifying images of my child may be captured and used in marketing materials, on websites, or on social media.
If I prefer that no images or video including myself or my child be captured or used in any capacity, I will notify Mother Core prior to class.

6. Participant Photography
To protect the privacy of all children and families, participants may not photograph or record other children or families during class without their explicit consent. Personal photos or videos must be limited to one’s own child.

 7. Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, I authorize the instructor or other representatives of the Pilates studio to seek emergency medical treatment for myself or my child, as deemed necessary. I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred in the event of an injury.

8. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Pilates studio and its instructors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from any injury, loss, or damage caused by my actions or my child’s actions during participation in the Program.

9. Agreement to Follow Instructions
I agree to follow all instructions provided by the instructor during the Pilates class to ensure my safety and the safety of my child. I understand that failure to follow the instructor’s guidance may increase the risk of injury.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this Liability Waiver and Release Form. I consent to my own and my child’s participation in the Mommy and Me Pilates Program and voluntarily assume all associated risks.
