South DFW Canicross Run

🐕 RUN WILD WITH NORTH TEXAS CANI CLUB! 🏃

Grab your dog and join us for a canicross-style trail run at Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park!

This is about a 1.2 mile loop trail, but participants have the opportunity to run multiple loops to complete their ideal distance. Whether you’re brand new to running with your dog or already have some miles under your belt, this run is about getting outside, moving together, and having fun with your dog.

HOW IT WORKS
🏃 Run at your own pace! This is not a race!
🐕 Canicross-style running: dogs run in harness and are connected to their runner
🤝 All experience levels are welcome
🌿 Beginner friendly trail terrain

NEW TO CANICROSS?
You’re welcome here! You do not need to be an experienced runner or have a perfectly trained canicross dog to join us. North Texas Cani Club is about learning, building confidence, and creating more ways to adventure with our dogs.

Bring water for you + your dog, appropriate running shoes, and your running setup if you have one.

Please note: For the safety and comfort of all dogs, this is a movement-focused event rather than a dog social. Please give other dogs space and avoid on-leash greetings unless both handlers have agreed.
