Tournament Format:
🏓 3 courts, 6 teams per court, with each team playing 5 games to 11 points. Sign up with a teammate or we can partner you with someone. The top teams advance to the finals!

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT THAT AFFECTS YOUR RIGHTS.

This Agreement is between Capital City Pickleball LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and the individual participant (“you,” “your,” or “Participant”). By signing below, you agree to all terms outlined herein, which govern your participation in any activities, events, or use of facilities organized by the Company.

1. Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risks
I understand and acknowledge that participating in pickleball events and activities involves risks of injury, illness, property damage, or death. These risks include, but are not limited to:

Slips, trips, or falls
Collisions with other participants or equipment
Overexertion or dehydration
Exposure to weather conditions or communicable diseases
I voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with my participation in these activities, whether held at 5912 Lehman Way, Austin, Texas 78747, or other locations.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Capital City Pickleball LLC, its officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, event hosts, sponsors, and the owners of the facilities where events are held (“Released Parties”) from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from my participation, including but not limited to:

Personal injury, illness, or death
Property damage or theft
Claims arising from the negligence of the Released Parties or others
3. Use of Facilities
I understand that events may take place at facilities not owned by Capital City Pickleball LLC. I acknowledge that the Company does not control the condition or safety of such facilities and is not responsible for any risks or injuries arising from facility conditions.

4. Medical Treatment
I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of an injury, accident, or illness during any event. I release the Released Parties from any claims related to such treatment.

5. Media Release
I grant Capital City Pickleball LLC permission to use photographs, videos, or recordings taken of me during events for promotional purposes without compensation.

6. Indemnity
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, or expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from my participation in events or use of facilities.

7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Travis County, Texas.

8. Agreement Binding on Minors
If the Participant is under 18 years old, this Agreement must be signed by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts all terms on behalf of the minor.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT. BY SIGNING BELOW, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS.

Solo Tourney Pass for an individual looking to compete i in the tournament! We will randomly pair you with another player choosing this option. Please accurately select the skill rating that best reflects your level of play.

Partner Tourney Pass for both you and your partner! Save $5 by purchasing two tickets in one for players who already have a teammate with this option! Please provide both names when buying this ticket alongside choosing the appropriate skill level. (If you are different skill levels, choose the level that is the higher between the two of you.)
