FEARLESS RUN CLUB ATXPARTICIPANT WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By registering for and participating in this event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION

I understand that participation in the Fearless Run Club ATX 5K and related activities is voluntary and involves physical activity that may carry risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, dehydration, heat-related illness, medical emergencies, property damage, serious injury, or death.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in this event. I certify that I am physically capable of participating and understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a healthcare professional regarding any medical conditions or concerns prior to participation.

MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY

I understand that Fearless Run Club ATX, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates are not responsible for evaluating my physical fitness or medical condition. I agree to participate at my own risk and accept full responsibility for any injuries, illnesses, medical expenses, or damages that may occur.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Fearless Run Club ATX, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, costs, or causes of action arising from or related to my participation in this event, including claims arising from negligence to the fullest extent permitted by law.

PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE

I understand that photographs, videos, and other media may be taken during the event. By participating, I grant Fearless Run Club ATX permission to use my likeness, image, voice, and appearance in photographs, videos, social media content, marketing materials, promotional materials, and other media without compensation or further approval.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

I understand that I am solely responsible for my personal belongings and that Fearless Run Club ATX is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.

RULES & SAFETY

I agree to follow all event rules, instructions, and safety guidelines. I understand that organizers reserve the right to remove participants whose conduct may endanger themselves or others.

MINORS

If registering a participant under the age of 18, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant and consent to their participation under the terms of this waiver.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms outlined above. I understand that by signing this document, I am giving up certain legal rights.
