Activity Location: Outdoor lessons typically held at Paseo Vista Archery Range, Chandler, AZ (or other locations as communicated).
Class Type: Adult-only (18+). By agreeing, you affirm you are 18 years or older.
Quick Reference: 

24-hour cancellation policy; late cancels/no-shows not refunded.
Weather/safety cancellations: reschedule/credit or refund at coach’s discretion.
18+ only; bring water & sun protection (outdoor range).
Follow all safety instructions; unsafe conduct may end participation without refund.
By booking, you consent to photo/video use for promotional purposes unless you notify the coach beforehand.

1) Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
I understand that archery and related fitness activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: muscle strain, string slap/bruising, cuts/abrasions, trips/falls, ricochet or errant arrows, equipment malfunction/failure, weather exposure (heat, sun), dehydration, and interactions with other participants. I voluntarily assume all risks of participation, whether known or unknown, and agree to release and hold harmless Eleanor Rodriguez, Archery by Eleanor, On Point Adventures LLC, instructors, assistants, venue owners, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation, except to the extent caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct.
2) Health & Medical Acknowledgment; Treatment Consent
I represent that I am in good health and physically able to participate. I will disclose any relevant conditions (e.g., injuries, allergies, medications) to the coach before participating. I understand Arizona outdoor heat can be extreme and agree to hydrate, rest, and use sun protection as needed. In an emergency, I authorize the coach or venue to secure medical evaluation and treatment for me, and I accept financial responsibility for related costs.
3) Safety Rules & Range Conduct
I agree to follow all instructions from the coach and adhere to standard range safety, including:
Always point bows/arrows downrange; never at people or animals.
No drawing or dry-firing a bow without an arrow unless instructed.
Nock arrows only at the shooting line and only when instructed.
Cease fire immediately on “STOP”/emergency command; lower bow and await directions.
Do not cross the shooting line until instructed to retrieve arrows.
Check lanes are clear before shooting; avoid distractions.
Use provided equipment properly; report defects or damage immediately.
Closed-toe shoes recommended; secure long hair and loose clothing/jewelry.
No alcohol, vaping, or drugs before or during class; you may be refused participation without refund if impaired.
Respectful conduct is required; unsafe behavior may result in removal without refund.
4) Equipment Use; Loss & Damage
Equipment may be provided. I agree to use all equipment as instructed and return it in similar condition. I accept responsibility for loss or damage caused by misuse or neglect and agree to reimburse reasonable repair or replacement costs (e.g., arrows, nocks, fletchings, strings, rests, sights) at retail value.
5) Personal Property
I am responsible for my personal belongings. The coach and company are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items brought to the activity.
6) Weather, Cancellations, Late Arrivals & Refunds
Participant cancellations/reschedules must be made ≥ 24 hours in advance; otherwise no refund and no credit for late cancellations or no-shows.
If the coach cancels for weather (e.g., lightning, high winds, excessive heat), venue issues, or safety concerns, you will receive rescheduling priority or credit, or a refund at the coach’s discretion.
Late arrivals may shorten your session to end on time; no partial refunds.
Group bookings: the booking client is responsible for communicating policies and ensuring all participants agree to them.
7) Adult-Only; Representation of Age
Classes are 18+ only. By agreeing, I represent and warrant that I am at least 18 years old and may legally enter this Agreement.
8) Photo/Video & Social Media Consent
By booking, I grant Archery by Eleanor / On Point Adventures LLC a royalty-free, perpetual license to use photos or videos of me taken during lessons for promotional and advertising purposes, including social media, website, and print materials. I understand these may be used without additional approval, compensation, or notice. If I prefer not to be photographed or filmed, I must notify the coach before class begins.
9) Platform Terms (SweatPals)
I understand this Agreement supplements and does not replace SweatPals’ Terms of Service, waiver, and policies, which also apply to my booking.
10) Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to indemnify and defend the released parties against claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of my participation, violation of rules, or misuse of equipment, except to the extent caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11) Dispute Resolution; Governing Law; Venue; Jury Trial Waiver
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute shall be brought in the state courts of Maricopa County, Arizona, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction there. Each party waives the right to a jury trial to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing here prevents a claim in Arizona small claims court, if eligible.
12) Electronic Agreement; Entire Agreement; Severability; No Assignment
I agree to electronic signatures and records. By checking the box during booking, I adopt my typed name as my electronic signature with the same force as a handwritten signature. This document, together with applicable platform terms, constitutes the entire agreement regarding the activity and supersedes prior communications. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder remains enforceable. I may not assign my rights or obligations without written consent.
