1. PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

By choosing to participate, I the attendee, acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Asheville Health and Wellness Event (“Event”) hosted by____ 

I understand and accept that this event is a range of wellness, health, fitness, and recovery activities, which include but not limited to:

 -Cold plunges
- Saunas
- Guided Fitness classes/demonstrations/competitions (Yoga, Pilates, HIIT, strength training, mobility, stretching, weightlifting)
- Health screenings and wellness consultations
- Nutritional sampling and education provided by 3rd party vendors
- Intravenous (IV) Injections, B12 shots
- Red light therapy
- fire pits
- musical performances
- Massages

By signing this agreement, I understand and agree to all of the participation activities.

2. ACKNOWLEDGEMT OF RISK

I understand and accept that participation in physical and health and wellness-related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

- Severe personal injury or death
- Paralysis or permanent injury
- Cardiovascular events (heart attacks, strokes)
- Electrical injuries 
- Skin reaction/sensitivity to wellness products/sampling
- Muscle strains, sprains, fractures, bruises, or other physical injury
- Dizziness, fainting, dehydration, hypothermia, hyperthermia, frostbite
- Allergic reactions/food-borne illnesses, choking to food, products, or environmental exposure
- Accidents involving equipment, facilities, or other participants
- Illness, including communicable diseases (e.g., COVID)
- Loss or damage to personal property

By signing and participating, I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, arising out of or related to my participation in the Event.

3. HEALTH REPRESENTATION:
By signing and participating in this event, I confirm that
I am physically and medically able to participate in Event activities. I have consulted with a licensed healthcare provider if I have any medical conditions or concerns that could affect my participation. I will immediately stop participating and seek assistance if I experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms.

4. RELEASE AND WAIVER LIABILITY

In consideration and permission of being allowed to participate in the event, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and harmless the following entities and individuals ("Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, cause of action, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in the event. 
The "Released Parties" include AVL - Better Together, all owners and lessors of where the premise of the event is held, members, officers, employees, volunteers, directors, instructors, sponsors, vendors, contractors, venue providers, and affiliated partners with these entities.
