Acknowledgment of Risk
I understand that participation in any run club activity, group run, workout, or event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: slips, trips, falls, collisions, weather conditions, dehydration, overexertion, and traffic hazards. These activities may result in serious injury, illness, or death.
Assumption of Responsibility
I voluntarily choose to participate in this event at my own risk. I am solely responsible for monitoring my own physical condition and deciding whether to participate or continue. I agree to act safely, follow all instructions, and use good judgment at all times.
Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate, I release and hold harmless the event organizers, hosts, volunteers, sponsors, venues, and affiliates (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation — including those caused by negligence of the Released Parties.
Health & Fitness to Participate
I certify that I am physically fit and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation. I am responsible for any medical expenses that may arise from injury or illness during or after the event.
Photo & Media Release
I grant permission for photos or videos taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes, without compensation.
Severability
If any portion of this waiver is deemed invalid, the remaining sections shall continue in full force and effect.
