BTE Run Club Liability Waiver and Release of Claims

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING

By joining any run, event, or activity hosted by BTE Run Club (“BTE Run Club,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk
I understand that participating in physical activities such as running involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, falls, injuries, collisions, weather conditions, traffic, dehydration, and other hazards. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages I may sustain as a result of my participation.

Medical Clearance
I affirm that I am physically fit and capable of participating in the activities and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. I am solely responsible for my own health and well-being during the activity.

Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge BTE Run Club, its organizers, coaches, volunteers, members, and partners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained while participating in any BTE Run Club activities, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Personal Property
I understand that BTE Run Club is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during any event or activity.

Photographs and Media Release
I grant permission to BTE Run Club to use photographs, video, or other media taken during activities for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing materials.

COVID-19 and Health Safety
I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk of exposure or infection. I agree to follow all health and safety guidelines that may be implemented by BTE Run Club or local authorities.

Minors
If I am signing on behalf of a minor (under 18), I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian and agree to the terms of this waiver on their behalf.

By participating in BTE Run Club activities, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this liability waiver and release of claims.
