Join Sunday Grounding for our monthly community hike



falling near a new moon date! We will meet at Delcastle Park - Near the Tennis Building @ 10:00 AM.&#x20;



We will hike the Weatherhill Trail for a 3.5 mile hike.



This hike is a mix of forest, golf course, and park views that have a few hills. *Hiking poles are available to borrow during the hike on a first-come-first-served basis.* This is a trail with **paved** portions of the trail, suitable for those with strong gait and balance.



Grounders have the option to stay after the hike to do some hammocking at the park. If you don't have a hammock, add one to your registration and we will bring you one!

By signing this waiver, you agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge and understand that participation in outdoor and nature-based activities, including but not limited to hiking, camping, biking, forest bathing, and somatic exercises, involves inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to: trips, slips, falls, insect bites, weather conditions, animal encounters, dehydration, and physical exertion. I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen, and take full responsibility for my participation.

2. Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this event, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Whitney Wideman, Sunday Grounding, its officers, employees, volunteers, agents, affiliates, and event partners (collectively referred to as “the Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, for any injuries, losses, or damages (including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or death) that may arise from or in connection with my participation in the event.

3. Medical Acknowledgment
I affirm that I am physically fit and capable of participating in this event. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a medical professional prior to participating, especially if I have any pre-existing health conditions. I authorize the event organizers to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary.

4. Photo/Video Release
I grant permission for photos and/or video taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes by Sunday Grounding, including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed materials. (If you do not consent to this, please send an email to whitney@sundaygrounding.com)

5. Binding Agreement
I understand that this waiver is binding upon me, my heirs, executors, legal representatives, and assigns. If any part of this waiver is found to be invalid, the remainder will remain in full force and effect.
