1. ELIGIBILITY AND CAPACITY
This event is open to participants of all ages. If I am the parent or legal guardian of a minor attending this event, I agree to the terms of this Agreement on behalf of myself and on behalf of the minor, and I assume full responsibility for the minor’s participation and conduct. I acknowledge and agree that alcohol, illegal drugs, and recreational substances are strictly prohibited at this event. I agree not to possess, use, or distribute prohibited substances at the event.
The Organizer may, in its sole discretion, deny entry and/or remove any person for suspected impairment or any violation of event rules, with or without refund.

3. NATURE OF EVENT AND ACTIVITIES
I understand that this event is an outdoor, costume-themed sunset wellness and yoga event held on City of Scottsdale property, beginning in the early evening and continuing after dark. Event programming may include, but is not limited to:

Programming, instructors, and schedule may vary and are subject to change.

4. ASSUMPTION OF RISK — GENERAL AND ACTIVITY-SPECIFIC
I understand that attending and participating in yoga and wellness activities involves inherent and foreseeable risks, including serious injury and death. These risks may arise from my own actions, the actions of others, the physical demands of yoga and movement, Venue conditions, weather, and other causes beyond the Organizer’s control.
Specific risks I understand and accept include, but are not limited to:
- Musculoskeletal injury, joint strain, muscle strain, or overexertion from yoga postures, movement sequences, or other physical activity
- Falls, balance-related injuries, or contact with the ground or surrounding surfaces during yoga or movement exercises
- Injury arising from advanced, partner-based, or weight-bearing yoga postures

- Limited vision, hearing, or breathing caused by masks, face paint, wigs, hats, headpieces, or other costume pieces
- Trips, falls, or entanglement caused by long, loose, or bulky costumes, capes, tails, costume footwear, or props, including during balance postures and transitions
- Reduced range of motion or flexibility while wearing a costume, which may increase the risk of strain or loss of balance
- Overheating, heat exhaustion, or dehydration from wearing costumes, layers, or face coverings during outdoor activity in Arizona, including in the evening
- Skin irritation, rashes, or allergic reactions to makeup, face paint, glitter, adhesives, dyes, or costume fabrics

I voluntarily and expressly assume all risks, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, including risks arising from the negligence of the Released Parties (defined below), except to the extent such release is prohibited by law.

5. COSTUMES — RULES AND CONDUCT
Costumes are optional. If I (or a minor in my care) choose to wear a costume, I accept the additional risks described above and agree that:
- Any costume worn will allow the wearer to see, hear, breathe, and move safely during yoga and other activities
- I will remove or modify any mask, headpiece, cape, tail, or other costume piece that blocks vision or interferes with safe movement, and I will do so promptly if asked by the Organizer, an instructor, or event staff
- Props must be soft, lightweight, and non-weapon-like. Realistic-looking weapons (including replica or toy guns, knives, or swords), sharp or pointed items, and any prop that could injure others are not permitted
- I am responsible for staying hydrated and for removing costume layers or face coverings if I begin to feel overheated
- I am responsible for knowing whether I (or a minor in my care) may react to any makeup, face paint, or costume material used
- I will take extra care when moving around the event at sunset, after dark, and in low-light areas
The Organizer may require a costume or prop to be removed or modified, or may deny participation to or remove any person whose costume or prop is unsafe or violates event, Venue, or City of Scottsdale rules.

6. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION; PHYSICAL READINESS
I understand that my attendance and participation in all event programming are entirely voluntary. I acknowledge that the Organizer and instructors are not medical professionals and that any instruction given during the event is general guidance, not personalized medical or fitness advice.
I represent that I am in adequate physical condition to participate in yoga and wellness activities, and that I am not aware of any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or health limitation that would make such participation inadvisable without medical clearance. I agree to inform any instructor of relevant physical limitations before participating.
I further agree to listen to my body, modify or stop participation at any time if I feel pain, discomfort, or distress, and to seek medical attention if needed.

7. MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT; EMERGENCY CARE
I understand that:
- The Organizer does not provide medical services or professional medical personnel at this event.
- I am responsible for my own health and safety and for obtaining medical advice prior to participating in any yoga or wellness activity.
- In an emergency, the Organizer may call 911 or seek assistance, but has no obligation to provide medical care.
I authorize the Organizer and/or Venue personnel to obtain emergency medical care for me if they choose to do so, and I agree to be financially responsible for all related costs.

8. OUTDOOR VENUE AND CITY PROPERTY ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I understand and acknowledge that this event takes place on outdoor property owned and managed by the City of Scottsdale. I agree to comply with all City of Scottsdale rules, regulations, and ordinances applicable to the use of Scottsdale Civic Center, including those related to noise, use of public space, prohibited items, and conduct.
I understand that conditions at an outdoor city venue may include uneven terrain, exposure to the elements, proximity to public areas, and other environmental factors outside the Organizer’s control, and I accept all risks arising from such conditions.
