Each guest will choose a wrapped mystery book to take home while enjoying tea, pastries, music, and meaningful conversation with other women in the community.

CreateHER Social Club events are intentionally women-only spaces designed to help women connect, build friendships, and experience intentional community together. This is an adults-only event to preserve a relaxed and intimate atmosphere for all guests.

Theme + Dress Code

Our first Social Club event, Blinded by the Books, will have an early-2000s rom-com inspired vibe — think cozy coffee shop energy, soft music, and the nostalgic feeling of your favorite comfort movies.

Picture walking into a warm tea room with music that feels straight out of a scene from movies like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and 10 Things I Hate About You, with soft coffee shop music from artists like Norah Jones playing in the background.

Dress Code (optional but encouraged):
Early-2000s rom-com main character energy ☕📚

Here’s what the morning will look like:
☕ Tea & Scones

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed with a fresh scone and a pre-selected tea. Scones will be served with strawberry preserves, lemon jam, and whipped cream.

Additional drinks or menu items from the café will also be available for guests who would like to purchase something extra during the event.

📚 Blind Date With a Book

There will be 52 wrapped books available, each hiding a different story inside. Every guest will receive a ticket upon arrival and will exchange that ticket for their mystery book.

Books are first come, first serve, so arrive ready to pick one that speaks to you.

🎶 Music & Mingling

Soft music will be playing while guests enjoy the space and connect with one another. There will be comfortable seating areas available, but guests are encouraged to walk around, mingle, and meet new people throughout the event.

At the end of the event, one guest will be selected as our Main Character of the Morning and will receive a special surprise gift from CreateHER Social Club.

Before we wrap up the morning, we’ll gather together for a group photo to capture the moment.

This event is intentionally intimate with only 45 spots available so everyone has the opportunity to connect and enjoy the experience.
