About this event
LOS ANGELES, ARE YOU READY TO RE-LIVE, RE-VIBE, AND REVIVE?! 🌴✨
Welcome to DAYBREAKER LA: THE RETRO REVIVAL!
On Saturday, May 30th, we are taking over the iconic 1212 Restaurant right in the heart of the bustling Third Street Promenade for a morning of pure magic, deep connection, and high-energy nostalgia.
"Retro" means revival, and honey, we are reviving everything. We’re reviving our spirits, waking up our bodies with an invigorating dance party, and breathing vibrant new life into the historic energy of Santa Monica.
Dust off your 80s tracksuits, neon spandex, and wildest retro prints. It's time to dress loud, dance proud, and flash back to the future!
📍 THE SPACE: 1212 SANTA MONICA
Get ready to step inside a chic, coastal oasis. 1212 Restaurant is a massive, two-story, 10,000-square-foot hotspot that flawlessly blends sleek modern design with cozy, vintage-sleek coastal charm. Normally the go-to destination for vibey dinners and unforgettable cocktails, 1212 is opening its doors exclusively to our community, clearing out the tables, and turning their gorgeous, open space and wrap-around balcony into our private, morning dance sanctuary. It’s giving everything we want and more!
🧘♀️ 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM | THE WAKE-UP YOGA
We are kicking off the morning by partnering with the legendary shefayoga in Venice! Leading our practice is the powerhouse owner herself, Leah Zaccaria. Leah leads from a mindset of absolute abundance, inspiring you to live your truth, stand in who you are truly meant to be, and embrace her mission of Community, Growth, and Discovery.
As Leah guides your flow, the incredible Artagus will be on the decks, weaving a live DJ set to elevate your breath, stretch your soul, and prep your body for the dance floor.
💃 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM | THE DANCE PARTY
The lights go down, the energy goes up, and the bass drops. We are ecstatic to welcome the world-famous DJ Alex Cruz to the decks! Renowned globally for blending deep, soulful, and intensely uplifting house music, Alex is going to channel that vintage, retro-revival energy straight into your feet. Expect a dance floor bursting with neon, smiles, and unstoppable euphoria.
🕊️ 10:45 AM - 11:00 AM | THE CLOSING MOMENT
We’ll bring our morning to a beautiful close by grounding together. We’ll seal the energy with a collective moment of deep connection and an intimate, soul-stirring live performance that will leave your heart wide open and ready to take on the world.
🍉 THE DAYBREAKER BAZAAR & REFRESHMENTS
Fuel your body right! Our Daybreaker Bazaar will be fully stocked with complimentary wellness refreshments from our amazing sponsors to keep your energy sky-high. Plus, 1212 will have delicious craft coffee and fresh juices available for purchase to keep those morning vibes perfectly fueled.
