This Thanksgiving season, we’re moving with purpose.

Join us for the first-ever **Dressin’ Dash** — our city’s take on the classic turkey trot, **built for the culture and by the community**. We’re bringing Houston together for a morning of movement, music, and giving back.

We’re raising donations for the **Houston Food Bank,** collecting nonperishable food items, and going one step further — anyone who brings out home-cooked meals, we’ll make sure they’re passed directly to those in need.&#x20;

By registering for or participating in the **Dressin’ Dash** (the “Event”), I acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to take part in physical activity which includes walking, jogging, or running on public streets, sidewalks, and/or trails, and may include post-run social activities. I understand that participation in this Event carries inherent risks, including but not limited to, falls, collisions, dehydration, heat exhaustion, adverse weather, and other potential hazards that could result in injury, illness, or death.

### **Assumption of Risk**

I understand and voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event. I certify that I am physically fit to participate, and I will use good judgment and act responsibly at all times.

### **Release and Waiver**

In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless **BARC HTX**, its founders, organizers, volunteers, affiliates, sponsors (including but not limited to **Adidas**, **Houston Food Bank**), venue partners, and all associated staff or representatives from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage I may suffer while participating in or traveling to or from the Event.

### **Medical Authorization**

In the event of an injury or emergency, I authorize Event personnel or medical professionals to secure medical attention deemed necessary, and I accept responsibility for any resulting costs.

### **Conduct & Safety**

I agree to act respectfully and responsibly during the Event and to follow all instructions from Event staff. I understand that participation in community service, food drives, or distribution activities (including bringing or sharing cooked meals) is voluntary and done at my own risk.

### **Media Release**

I grant permission for **BARC HTX** and its partners to use photos, videos, or recordings of me from the Event for promotional or community purposes, without compensation.

### **Acknowledgment**

By signing below (or electronically agreeing), I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this waiver, and that I am voluntarily giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue, and that I agree to these terms freely and voluntarily.
