About this event

Hot dogs have been a mainstay of Upper Walls, so we're closing out the 2026 hot dog season with our third annual Dynos & Dogs!

Dynos & Dogs is a dyno bouldering and hot dog-eating challenge in a team format. Teams will have 90 minutes to complete as many dynos as they can, with the requirement to eat 1 hot dog per new boulder attempted. We will have a selection of dynos of varying difficulty, and each dyno is assigned a point value based on its difficulty level. Dynos can be repeated, but a repeat after a top will be considered a “new boulder” and will require additional hot dog(s), and will be worth fewer points. A raffle will be held at the end of each session, with 1 raffle ticket awarded based on points gained.

*Hot dog must include bun. Vegetarian/GF options available, please make a note of dietary restrictions when completing the competitor information form that will be sent following completion of registration.

Teams can have 2-4 members. Registration is $100 per team, and 10% of all registration fees will be donated to one of our favorite pet rescue organizations.

Following completion of your payment for this event, you will receive an email with a form to enter the information for your other team members. Please complete this form within a week of your registration.

  • Where can I park?
    • Parking is extremely limited in the area. Please consider carpooling, biking, or taking the bus. Off-street parking is available at the CornerStone lot next to SBP Fremont. If you park on the street, please be mindful of our neighbors and maintain 5 feet of distance from driveways.
  • Where can I warm up?
    • Competitors will need to check in at Upper Walls (3625 Interlake Ave N), and then can head down to our main Fremont building (3535 Interlake Ave N) to warm up.
