May is Mental Health Awareness Month — and this Walk & Talk is our way of honoring it.

Come walk and connect.&#x20;

This month, all donations go to **Mental Health America of Greater Dallas**, a local nonprofit expanding access to mental health resources right here in our community.

**Where:** Meet at LDU on Garland Rd. We’ll grab our drinks and then walk along the lake trail.

**Parking:** Free parking is available in the parking lot where LDU is located.

**What to Bring:** Comfortable clothes + walking shoes, water bottle if you’d like, and your wallet for coffee.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE AGREEMENT

PHOTO/FILM RELEASE:
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Activity (defined below), and for good and valuable consideration, including the possibility of publicity, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, I grant permission to WellthyWell, its affiliates, practitioners, representatives, successors, and assigns (collectively, “WellthyWell”), to photograph and film me as part of my participation in the event identified below on the date identified below (and related activities thereat) (the “Activity”). I irrevocably grant to WellthyWell all rights to use my name, likeness, image, voice, and performance in any medium now known or later developed, in connection with the Activity, without expectation of compensation. I acknowledge that WellthyWell may use this material for promotional, commercial, or educational purposes across all WellthyWell events and locations.

ACTIVITY AND ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS:
I acknowledge and understand that the Activity — which may include but is not limited to physical movement, breathwork, mindfulness practices, walking events, yoga, strength training, educational workshops, and exposure to natural elements — may take place in various cities and states (including but not limited to California, Texas, and other WellthyWell event locations) (collectively, the “Activity”). I recognize that participation carries inherent risks that may result in physical or emotional injury, illness, or death. These risks may include but are not limited to accidents, environmental hazards, slips, falls, and the actions of other participants or instructors. I voluntarily choose to participate in the Activity and fully assume all risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen, associated with my participation.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Activity in any city or state, I accept and agree to the full contents of this Release and hereby irrevocably release WellthyWell, the instructors, event organizers, venue owners, local partners, ambassadors, and all affiliated parties (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against all liabilities, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from or related to any injury, loss, or harm that occurs to me or my property during or as a result of my participation in the Activity. This waiver applies to claims arising from the negligence of the Released Parties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Assumption of Risk & Release Agreement, fully understand its contents, and sign it voluntarily of my own free will. I agree that this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, and any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in California, unless otherwise required by applicable law in the state where the Activity occurred.
