By purchasing a ticket, registering for, or participating in any class, workshop, activation, or event produced, hosted, or organized by The Pilates Girlies LLC DBA Pilates & Lattes Social Club (“Company”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk

I understand that Pilates, fitness activities, outdoor events, and wellness activations involve inherent risks including, but not limited to:

• muscle strain
• sprains or fractures
• slips, trips, or falls
• dehydration, heat exposure, or sun exposure
• equipment malfunction
• aggravation of pre-existing injuries or conditions

I voluntarily choose to participate and assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, illness, damage, or loss that may occur as a result of participation.

I certify that I am physically able to participate and have no medical condition that would prevent safe involvement. I understand I should consult a physician before participating if I have concerns.

2. Outdoor Venue Acknowledgment – Huizenga Park

By registering for and participating in any program, class, event, or activity at Huizenga Park, I acknowledge participation is voluntary and may involve certain risks.

In consideration for being permitted to participate, I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge the Fort Lauderdale Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and the City of Fort Lauderdale, including its officers, employees, agents, partners, instructors, vendors, volunteers, and affiliates, from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, or expenses arising from or related to my participation in activities at Huizenga Park, including but not limited to injury, property damage, or loss.

I agree to follow all instructions provided by DDA staff, instructors, and event partners and understand failure to do so may increase risk or result in removal from the program.

3. Release of Liability – Pilates & Lattes Social Club

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless:

The Pilates Girlies LLC DBA Pilates & Lattes Social Club, its owners, officers, instructors, contractors, venue partners, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and affiliates

from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in any activity, including negligence to the maximum extent permitted by Florida law.

4. Personal Responsibility

I understand I am responsible for:

• bringing my own equipment (including mat if required)
• monitoring my physical limits
• staying hydrated and protected from weather conditions
• stopping activity if pain, dizziness, or discomfort occurs

I assume full responsibility for my actions and any consequences that may result.

5. Photography & Media Release

I grant permission for the Company and its partners to photograph or record me during the event and to use my likeness, image, voice, or appearance for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes without compensation.

6. Personal Property

I understand the Company and venue are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

7. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By purchasing a ticket, checking the waiver box, registering online, or attending the event, I acknowledge that:

• I have read and fully understand this waiver
• I voluntarily agree to its terms
• I waive certain legal rights, including the right to sue
