About this event
Just two days before Thanksgiving, we're gathering under November's full moon for an evening of guided meditation, gratitude, reflection, and meaningful connection.
The holidays can bring so much at once ā excitement, expectations, busy schedules, family dynamics, and the pressure to be everywhere and do everything. Before stepping into it all, what if you gave yourself a little time to simply be?
This gathering is an invitation to step away from the noise, reconnect with yourself, and enter Thanksgiving feeling more grounded, present, and appreciative of what truly matters.
Inspired by November's Beaver Moon, traditionally associated with preparing for winter, we'll explore what it means to feel supported, recognize the abundance already present in our lives, and reflect on everything this year has taught us.
Through a calming guided full moon meditation, intentional reflection, and meaningful conversation, we'll create space to acknowledge how far we've come, release the pressure of what we haven't accomplished, and reconnect with a sense of gratitude that goes beyond the holiday itself.
Because gratitude isn't about pretending everything is perfect. It's about learning to recognize the good, even while life is still unfolding.
What to expect:
- Guided Full Moon Meditation: A calming practice to settle your mind, reconnect with your body, and cultivate a sense of grounding before the holidays.
- Gratitude & Reflection: Thoughtful prompts to recognize your growth, appreciate what you have, and reflect on what truly matters.
- Intention Setting: An opportunity to consider what you'd like to carry into the final weeks of the year ā and what you're ready to leave behind.
- Meaningful Connection: Genuine conversation and community with others who are also looking to slow down and reconnect.
You'll leave with:
- A greater sense of calm and grounding heading into Thanksgiving
- A renewed appreciation for the people, experiences, and growth that have shaped your year
- Simple mindfulness practices you can return to when life feels overwhelming
- New connections and a reminder of how powerful it can be to slow down together
We'll reserve the final 30 minutes for connection. Stay, mingle, exchange numbers, and enjoy the opportunity to meet others beyond the usual surface-level conversations.
Whether you're looking forward to the holidays, feeling overwhelmed by them, or simply craving a moment for yourself, there's space for you here.
No meditation experience necessary. All are welcome.
