Join us for another Phoenix Tennis Club Clinic at Grand Canyon University!



Spend the evening on court with us at GCU as we work on drills, point play, and match situations in a fun and welcoming environment.

Whether you’re just getting into tennis or you’ve been playing for years, everyone is welcome.

* Drills focused on technique, consistency, and match play.
* Live points and games.
* Access to all 6 tennis courts.
* Opportunity to experience a collegiate tennis facility.

PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, MEDIA CONSENT, AND REGISTRATION POLICY

Please read carefully before participating. This document affects your legal rights.

By participating in this event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:


1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that participation in tennis activities, including warm-ups, drills, instruction, match play, and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, equipment failure, heat-related illness, dehydration, and other injuries that may result in serious bodily injury or death.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in this event.


2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and discharge Phoenix Tennis Club, its founder, organizers, volunteers, coaches, sponsors, partners, event staff, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in this event.


3. GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY RELEASE

I understand that Grand Canyon University is providing access to its facilities for this event. I agree to release and hold harmless Grand Canyon University, its trustees, officers, employees, agents, representatives, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from my participation in this event or my presence on university property.


4. MEDICAL TREATMENT

I authorize emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary in the event of injury, illness, or emergency during the event. I understand that I am solely responsible for any resulting medical expenses.


5. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

I certify that I am physically capable of participating in tennis activities and understand that it is my responsibility to monitor my own health and safety throughout the event.


6. PHOTO, VIDEO, AND MEDIA RELEASE

I grant Phoenix Tennis Club, its sponsors, partners, and authorized representatives permission to photograph, film, record, and otherwise capture my likeness, image, voice, and participation during the event.

I authorize Phoenix Tennis Club to use such photographs, videos, recordings, and other media for promotional, marketing, educational, social media, website, advertising, and other lawful purposes without compensation or further approval.

I understand that these images and recordings may be shared publicly on social media platforms, websites, promotional materials, and future marketing campaigns.


7. MINORS

Participants under 18 years of age must have permission from and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms on the minor’s behalf.


8. WEATHER CONDITIONS

I acknowledge that this event takes place outdoors and that weather conditions may include extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, and other environmental factors common in Arizona. I understand that it is my responsibility to remain hydrated, wear appropriate clothing, use sunscreen, and take reasonable precautions for my health and safety.


9. PERSONAL PROPERTY

I understand and agree that Phoenix Tennis Club, Grand Canyon University, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and representatives are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during the event.


10. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT

I agree to conduct myself in a respectful and safe manner toward other participants, organizers, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and facility staff. I understand that inappropriate, aggressive, discriminatory, unsafe, disruptive, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in my immediate removal from the event without refund.


11. EVENT MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION

Phoenix Tennis Club reserves the right to modify, reschedule, relocate, or cancel the event due to weather conditions, safety concerns, facility availability, emergencies, insufficient participation, or other circumstances beyond its control. Reasonable efforts will be made to notify participants of any changes.


12. WAIVER OF RIGHT TO REVIEW OR APPROVE MEDIA

I understand and agree that photographs, videos, recordings, and other media created during the event may be edited, reproduced, published, and distributed by Phoenix Tennis Club and its sponsors for promotional, advertising, educational, or commercial purposes without my prior review, approval, or compensation.


13. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By participating in this event, I acknowledge that I have carefully read, fully understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions contained in this waiver. I understand that I am releasing certain legal rights and assume full responsibility for my participation in this event
