LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By booking or participating in any class, open studio session, workshop, private lesson, strength training, flexibility training, or related activity at MUVMET Studio (“Activities”), I agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in movement training, including pole fitness and conditioning, involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to:

• Slips, falls, or loss of balance
• Muscle strains, sprains, fractures, or dislocations
• Dizziness, fainting, or shortness of breath
• Injuries related to equipment such as poles, mats, or props
• Injuries caused by my own actions or the actions of others

I understand that injury can occur even with proper instruction and supervision. Serious injury or permanent disability is possible.

I voluntarily choose to participate and assume full responsibility for all risks associated with participation.

2. Health & Personal Responsibility

I confirm that:

• I am physically and mentally able to participate
• I am responsible for monitoring my own limits
• I will stop immediately if I feel unwell
• I will follow instructor instructions and studio safety rules

MUVMET does not evaluate my fitness level and is not responsible for determining whether I am fit to participate.

3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, I release and discharge MUVMET LLC, its owners, instructors, staff, contractors, agents, volunteers, and the property owner/landlord (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims or liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage arising from my participation in the Activities, including claims based on negligence.

4. Height Limitation

Instructional activities are conducted below 12 feet.
MUVMET does not offer aerial activities above 12 feet.
Any movement performed above this height is outside the scope of instruction and undertaken at my own risk.

5. Equipment Use

I agree to use equipment only as instructed and to report unsafe conditions immediately. I understand that misuse increases risk of injury.

6. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from claims brought by third parties as a result of my participation.

7. Media Consent

I grant permission for MUVMET to use photos or videos taken during Activities for promotional or educational purposes unless I notify the studio in writing that I opt out.

8. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

By agreeing below, I confirm that:

• I have read and understand this waiver
• I understand I am giving up certain legal rights
• I agree voluntarily
