About this event
This is an interpretive guided hike led by a Texas Master Naturalist and person in recovery. We’ll follow the path of Bull Creek first, seeing several waterfalls along the way. Then we climb up into the Preserve for a classic Hill Country hike through Oak/Juniper Woodlands. It’ll be rocky, a bit hilly and mostly shaded.
This is a moderate hike, about 3 miles, so wear good hiking shoes and sunscreen. Bring water. The event will take about 2.5 hours and will be partially shaded
We’ll meet at the Bull Creek Preserve parking lot, west of Loop 360, between 2222 and Spicewood Springs. Please do NOT KEEP ANYTHING VALUABLE VISIBLE IN YOUR CAR. There have been break-ins at all the trail heads off 360.
What to bring: Water and good hiking shoes.
