Girls Who Putt – Event Waiver & Release of Liability

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY RSVP’ING TO, REGISTERING FOR, OR ATTENDING ANY GIRLS WHO PUTT (“GWP”) EVENT, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE TERMS BELOW.

This Waiver & Release of Liability (“Release”) applies to all individuals (“Participant”) who RSVP, register for, or attend any event organized, hosted, or affiliated with Girls Who Putt (including but not limited to golf tournaments, mixers, social gatherings, clinics, practices, exhibitions, or off-site activities, collectively “Events”).

By attending or participating in a GWP Event, you agree as follows:

1. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that participation in golf, golf-related activities, and related social events involves inherent risks including, but not limited to: slips, trips, falls, impact with golf equipment, errant golf balls, injuries from other participants, property damage, weather-related hazards, consumption of food or alcohol, transportation to/from events, and any other risks incidental to such activities.
I voluntarily choose to participate in GWP Events and assume full responsibility for all risks, known and unknown, associated with my participation.

2. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Girls Who Putt, its founders, officers, directors, employees, contractors, partners, sponsors, affiliates, volunteers, and venue hosts (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever, whether in law or in equity, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, illness, injury (including death), or expenses that I may sustain or that may occur to any of my property while participating in, attending, or traveling to or from a GWP Event.

3. Medical Treatment & Emergencies

I authorize Girls Who Putt and its representatives to provide or obtain medical treatment deemed necessary if I am injured, become ill, or incapacitated during an Event. I release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any liability arising from such treatment.

4. Alcohol Consumption & Personal Responsibility

I understand that some GWP Events may involve the consumption of alcohol. If I choose to consume alcohol, I accept full responsibility for my actions, behavior, and any consequences thereof. Girls Who Putt assumes no responsibility for any injury, accident, or damage caused by my consumption of alcohol.

5. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including legal fees) incurred as a result of my participation in any Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

6. Media Release

I grant Girls Who Putt permission to use my likeness, image, voice, or appearance in photographs, videos, or promotional materials in connection with GWP Events without compensation.

7. Binding Effect

This Release shall be binding on me, my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors, and assigns.

8. Acknowledgment of Understanding

I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY IT. I UNDERSTAND THAT BY RSVP’ING, REGISTERING, OR ATTENDING A GIRLS WHO PUTT EVENT, I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE, AND THAT I AM DOING SO VOLUNTARILY.
