WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By participating in activities at hālo haus during SXSW, including but not limited to Pilates classes, cold plunge experiences, fitness demonstrations, wellness activations, and related programming, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that participation in physical activities, including Pilates and cold water immersion, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, muscle strain, slips and falls, hypothermia, cardiac events, and other unforeseen medical conditions. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.

I certify that I am physically fit to participate and have no medical condition that would prevent safe involvement. I understand that cold plunge participation is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have cardiovascular conditions, high blood pressure, respiratory issues, respiratory illness, or other underlying health concerns unless cleared by a medical professional.

I hereby release, waive, and discharge hālo+, hālo haus, event organizers, partners, instructors, sponsors, volunteers, property owners, and affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to injury, illness, loss, or damage sustained during participation.

I understand that this event may be photographed and filmed. By attending, I grant permission to hālo+, hālo haus, and affiliated partners to use my likeness, image, voice, and appearance in photography, video, and promotional materials without compensation.

I acknowledge that this event may take place outdoors and may involve uneven surfaces, weather conditions, and general event-related hazards.

By registering and participating, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to this waiver and release.
