Sunday, May 17, we're heading back to one of Austin's staples, Hill of Life.

Some of you already know it well. For others, this will be your first introduction to one of the city's classic trail spots.

The route is simple:
Down the Hill of Life, out toward the falls, check the water, cool off for those who want to jump in, then turn around and head back.

And that's where the real work begins.

Because anyone can go down.
The climb back out is what gives the Hill of Life its name.

For years, this trail has been a proving ground for Austin trail runners, hikers, and outdoor crews, and we like keeping it in rotation for our RUCKS because it always delivers exactly what you need: a little suffering, a little beauty, and a good reminder that the work is waiting on the way back up.

We'll meet at Buzz Mill and caravan out together.

* Wheels rolling at 9:00 AM sharp
