Ranch Run Club Waiver and Release of Liability

Please read carefully before participating in any event organized by the Ranch Run Club. By participating in the event, you are agreeing to the terms below.

Assumption of Risk
I understand and acknowledge that running and participating in events organized by the Ranch Run Club, including but not limited to the Wednesday Hump Day 6K Run, involves physical exertion and potential risks. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the event, including the risk of injury, illness, or death, and agree to participate at my own risk.

Release of Liability
I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, and discharge the Ranch Run Club, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliated parties, including Lakewood Ranch and its affiliates, from any and all liability for injuries, damages, claims, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in any event organized by the Ranch Run Club, even if caused by the negligence of the released parties.

Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Ranch Run Club, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliated parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising out of my participation in any event organized by the Ranch Run Club.

Medical Authorization
I certify that I am physically fit and capable of participating in the event. In case of any injury or medical emergency during the event, I authorize the event organizers or volunteers to seek medical attention for me, if necessary. I agree to bear all medical costs and responsibilities.

Understanding of Rules and Regulations
I agree to abide by all rules and regulations established by the Ranch Run Club and event organizers. I acknowledge that the event organizers may modify or cancel the event at their discretion for any reason, including but not limited to weather or safety concerns.

Consent for Photography and Media
I consent to the use of my name, image, and/or likeness in any photographs, videos, or other media taken during the event for promotional purposes by the Ranch Run Club, without compensation.

No Alcohol or Drugs
I agree not to consume any alcohol or drugs before or during the event. I understand that intoxication or impaired physical condition can increase the risk of injury and may result in my immediate disqualification from participation.

Acknowledgment of Understanding
I have read this waiver and release of liability carefully, understand its contents, and fully accept the risks associated with my participation. I sign this waiver freely and voluntarily, without any inducement or coercion.
