**HYROX Dallas Shakeout Run & Block Party Liability Waiver**

**READ CAREFULLY — THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY**

By participating in the HYROX Dallas Shakeout Run/Walk and Block Party (“Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

### **1. Voluntary Participation**

I understand that running, walking, physical activity, and participation in event activations involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, dehydration, weather conditions, traffic, uneven surfaces, muscle injuries, and other hazards. I choose to participate voluntarily and accept full responsibility for my own safety.

### **2. Assumption of Risk**

I acknowledge that injuries, illness, or accidents may occur as a result of my participation and that these risks cannot be fully eliminated. I understand that the Event may take place on open roads, sidewalks, and public areas with cars, bicycles, and other pedestrians present. I assume all risks, known and unknown.

### **3. Release of Liability**

I hereby release, waive, and discharge the following parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, or damages arising from my participation:

* BARC
* SweatPals
* PUMA
* MyProtein
* HYROX
* All event organizers, partners, vendors, volunteers, and venue hosts
* Their officers, employees, agents, and representatives

This release applies to injuries, accidents, property damage, or death — whether caused by negligence or otherwise — to the fullest extent permitted by law.

### **4. Personal Responsibility**

I confirm that I am physically able to participate and that I will listen to my body, hydrate properly, and act responsibly. I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by organizers and volunteers.

### **5. Alcohol & Post-Event Activities**

If alcohol is available at or near the Event, I acknowledge that consumption is entirely my choice and responsibility. I release all listed parties from any liability related to my personal decisions before, during, or after the event.

### **6. Photography & Media Release**

I grant permission for event organizers and partners to capture and use photos or video of me for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes without compensation.

### **7. Acknowledgment of Terms**

By attending, registering for, or participating in the Event, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to all terms in this waiver. I accept full responsibility for my participation.
