# PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS AGREEMENT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.**

By electronically signing this agreement, selecting “I Agree,” completing registration, or participating in the Jungla HYROX Simulation, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

## 1. Voluntary Participation and Physical Condition

I voluntarily choose to participate in this fitness event. I understand that the event may involve running, strength training, weightlifting, sled pushing and pulling, rowing, lunging, jumping, carrying equipment and other strenuous physical activities.

I confirm that I am physically capable of participating and am responsible for determining whether I am medically fit to participate. I understand that Jungla Training LLC does not provide medical advice or determine my fitness to participate.

I agree to stop participating immediately and notify event staff if I experience pain, dizziness, difficulty breathing, weakness or any other concerning symptoms.

## 2. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participating in this event involves known and unknown risks, including overexertion, dehydration, falls, collisions, equipment failure, muscle strains, sprains, fractures, illness, serious injury, permanent disability and death.

I knowingly and voluntarily accept all risks associated with my participation, including risks arising from my own actions, the actions of other participants, the condition of the facility, the use of equipment and the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties.

## 3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive and hold harmless Jungla Training LLC, its owners, employees, coaches, instructors, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, event partners, sponsors, vendors, property owners and representatives, collectively referred to as the “Released Parties,” from claims arising from or related to my participation in the event.

This release includes claims involving personal injury, illness, death, property damage, property loss or other damages caused by the inherent risks of the activity or the ordinary negligence of any Released Party.

This release does not apply to conduct that cannot legally be released or waived.

## 4. Medical Treatment

In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize event staff to provide reasonable first aid and contact emergency medical services on my behalf.

I understand that the Released Parties do not provide health, accident or medical insurance for participants. I accept full financial responsibility for any medical treatment, transportation or expenses resulting from my participation.

## 5. Event Rules and Conduct

I agree to follow all event rules, safety requirements and instructions provided by coaches and event staff.

I understand that event staff may modify an exercise, stop my participation or remove me from the event if they reasonably believe that continuing would be unsafe, disruptive or harmful to me or another person.

I agree to use the facility and equipment responsibly and not engage in conduct that could endanger another participant, spectator, employee or event representative.

## 6. Personal Property

I accept responsibility for my personal belongings. I understand that the Released Parties are not responsible for property that is lost, stolen or damaged before, during or after the event.

## 7. Photography and Media Release

I authorize Jungla Training LLC and its event partners to photograph, film and record me during the event.

I grant permission for my image, voice and likeness to be used in social media, marketing, advertising and promotional materials without compensation or additional approval.

Participants who do not wish to be photographed or recorded must notify Jungla Training LLC before participating in the event.

## 8. Participants Under 18

I confirm that I am at least 18 years old.

Participants under 18 may not participate unless a parent or legal guardian completes the separate minor participant waiver and provides all required consent.

## 9. Governing Law and Severability

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

## 10. Electronic Signature and Acknowledgment

I confirm that I have carefully read and understand this entire agreement. I understand that I am voluntarily giving up certain legal rights, including the right to bring certain claims against the Released Parties.

By electronically signing, selecting “I Agree,” submitting my registration or participating in the event, I confirm my acceptance of this agreement and intend for my electronic acceptance to have the same effect as a handwritten signature.
