**Ticket Policy**

All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a future Joyride event.



If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else. Please make sure they provide the original ticket holder’s name at check-in.



If the event is cancelled by the organizers, all ticket holders will receive a full refund.

JOYRIDE PARTICIPANT WAIVER, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE OF LIABILITY
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY SIGNING THIS WAIVER, YOU ARE ASSUMING CERTAIN RISKS AND GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES.
This Participant Waiver, Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability (“Waiver”) is entered into by the undersigned participant (“Participant”) in favour of Limitlyss Inc., operator of Joyride, together with its directors, officers, employees, facilitators, contractors, volunteers, event partners, collaborators, venue owners and operators, property owners, and their respective employees, contractors, agents and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”).
By signing this Waiver and participating in a Joyride experience, the Participant acknowledges and agrees to the following:
1. Age Requirement
The Participant confirms that they are 18 years of age or older.
This Waiver applies only to adult participants. Separate consent and waiver requirements apply to any event specifically designated as a family or all-ages experience.
2. Nature of the Experience
Joyride is an immersive movement and music experience operated by Limitlyss Inc.
Joyride experiences use wireless headphones and may include curated music, breath practices, somatic practices, guided and free movement, dancing, shaking, stretching, meditation, stillness, and opportunities for interpersonal or group connection.
Participation is voluntary. The Participant is responsible for participating at their own pace and within their own limits and may modify, pause or stop participating at any time.

3. Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk
The Participant understands that Joyride involves physical movement and participation in a group experience and that, as with any movement-based activity, there are inherent risks of injury or discomfort.
These risks may include, but are not limited to:
slips, trips, falls or collisions;
loss of balance or coordination;
muscle strains, sprains, joint injuries or other physical injuries;
physical exertion, fatigue or overexertion;
dizziness, lightheadedness, shortness of breath or fainting;
dehydration or overheating;
aggravation of a pre-existing injury, illness or medical condition; and
emotional discomfort or unexpected emotional responses.
Some Joyride experiences may take place outdoors, including on or near docks and waterfront areas. Outdoor participation may involve additional risks related to uneven, wet or slippery surfaces, proximity to open water, and changing weather conditions.
The Participant understands that wearing wireless headphones may reduce their awareness of their surroundings and agrees to remain attentive to the space and other participants while moving.
The Participant voluntarily chooses to participate and accepts and assumes the risks associated with participation.
4. Health and Personal Responsibility
The Participant understands that they are responsible for determining whether participation in Joyride is appropriate for them.
The Participant agrees to consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating if they have concerns related to an injury, pregnancy, medical condition, physical or psychological health, medication, or their ability to participate safely.
The Participant understands that Joyride is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic or clinical service and is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.
The Participant agrees to listen to their body, participate within their own limits, and modify, pause or stop participating if they experience pain, dizziness, distress, discomfort or any other concern.
5. Emotional Responses
The Participant understands that music, movement, breath, meditation and somatic practices may evoke unexpected emotions, memories, sensations or discomfort.
The Participant understands that participation in any practice is voluntary and that they may modify, pause or stop at any time.
The Participant acknowledges that Joyride does not provide medical or mental health treatment, crisis support or ongoing therapeutic care.
6. Participant Conduct and Safety
The Participant agrees to:
follow reasonable instructions and safety directions provided by Joyride facilitators, event staff and venue staff;
use reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others;
respect the physical and personal boundaries of other participants;
refrain from participating while impaired by alcohol, cannabis or any other substance that could affect their ability to participate safely; and
modify or stop participating if instructed to do so for safety reasons.
Limitlyss Inc. and Joyride reserve the right to refuse participation or remove any person whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive or harmful to themselves or others.
7. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PARTICIPANT WAIVES, RELEASES AND FOREVER DISCHARGES THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACTIONS, CAUSES OF ACTION, DAMAGES, LOSSES, COSTS OR LIABILITIES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PARTICIPANT’S ATTENDANCE AT OR PARTICIPATION IN A JOYRIDE EXPERIENCE.
THIS RELEASE INCLUDES CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE RELATED TO THE PLANNING, ORGANIZATION, INSTRUCTION, SUPERVISION OR OPERATION OF THE EXPERIENCE; THE CONDITION OR USE OF THE PREMISES OR EQUIPMENT; OR THE FAILURE TO WARN OF A HAZARD, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
This release applies to claims relating to personal injury, illness, emotional distress, property damage or other loss arising from or connected with attendance at or participation in a Joyride experience.
Nothing in this Waiver is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
8. Emergency Medical Care
In the event of an accident, injury or medical emergency, the Participant authorizes Limitlyss Inc., Joyride facilitators, event staff or venue staff to contact emergency services and arrange reasonable emergency assistance if considered necessary.
The Participant understands that Limitlyss Inc. and Joyride do not guarantee the availability of medical personnel or emergency services on site and accepts responsibility for any costs associated with emergency transportation or medical care provided to them.
9. Personal Property
The Participant is responsible for their own personal belongings.
The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or unattended personal property.
10. Governing Law, Severability and Acknowledgment
This Waiver shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
If any provision of this Waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY.
I UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF THE JOYRIDE EXPERIENCE AND THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATION.
I UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS WAIVER, I AM VOLUNTARILY ASSUMING CERTAIN RISKS AND GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE THE RELEASED PARTIES IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES.
I CONFIRM THAT I AM 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND THAT I AM SIGNING THIS WAIVER FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.
I have read, understand and agree to the Joyride Participant Waiver, Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability.
