Join us for a very special **Joyrise** - a sunrise Joyride in support of CAMH and the Sunrise Challenge.



We’ll be gathering outside at Budapest Park to welcome the day together through music, movement, connection, and community as the sun rises over the city and waterfront.



This experience is all about waking up - to ourselves, to joy, to possibility, and to the energy of a new day.



Mental health is a cause that is deeply close to our hearts, and a big part of why we felt called to create Joyride in the first place.&#x20;



We believe that music, movement, connection, community, and creating space to feel - exactly as we are -can play a powerful role in supporting our wellbeing, both mentally and physically.



**100% of proceeds from this event will be donated to CAMH** in support of mental health research, education, and care.



### Morning Schedule

**5:15 a.m.** — arrive + settle in
**5:30 – 6:30 a.m.** — *Joyrise*: Sunrise Joyride experience
**6:30 – 7:00 a.m.** — Optional Joyrise Social&#x20;

JOYRIDE Participant Waiver & Release of Liability
Introduction
 This Participant Waiver and Release of Liability (“Waiver”) is entered into by the undersigned participant (“Participant”) in favour of Joyride, its owners, facilitators, contractors, partners, and affiliates (collectively, “Joyride”).
By registering for and participating in a Joyride experience, the Participant acknowledges and agrees to the following:
1. Minimum Age
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to attend Joyride experiences, unless otherwise specified. Separate consent and waiver requirements apply for any all-ages events.
2. Nature of the Experience
Joyride experiences may include guided movement, breathwork, music, meditation, and somatic practices designed to support physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
3. Assumption of Risk
The Participant understands that participation in Joyride involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional release, psychological stress, or discomfort.
The Participant voluntarily assumes full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages—known or unknown—that may arise from participation.
4. Physical & Mental Health Responsibility
The Participant confirms that they are physically and mentally able to participate.
The Participant acknowledges that:
Joyride is not a medical, therapeutic, or clinical service
It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care
The Participant agrees to listen to their body, participate at their own pace, and stop at any time if needed.
5. Emotional Release & Personal Responsibility
The Participant understands that the experience may evoke emotional responses.
The Participant agrees to take full responsibility for their emotional well-being during and after the experience.
6. Waiver & Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Participant releases and discharges Joyride from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation, including those resulting from negligence.
7. Indemnification
The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Joyride from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their participation.
8. Photography & Media Release
The Participant grants Joyride permission to capture and use photographs, video, or audio recordings taken during the experience for marketing, promotional, and content purposes.
If the Participant does not wish to be included, they must notify Joyride in writing prior to the event.
9. Personal Property
The Participant understands that Joyride is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
10. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and other participants.
Joyride reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe.
11. Emergency Medical Consent
In the event of an emergency, the Participant consents to receiving necessary medical treatment and assumes responsibility for any associated costs.
12. Governing Law
This Waiver shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
13. Severability
If any provision of this Waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14. Acknowledgment
By registering for and/or participating in a Joyride experience, the Participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Waiver, and that they are voluntarily giving up certain legal rights.
