By joining this community and participating in meetups, swims, or other events, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

* I understand that swimming and physical activity involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, or accidents.
* I participate voluntarily and assume full responsibility for my own health and safety.
* I certify that I am physically able to participate and will only join activities that are appropriate for my fitness and swimming ability.
* I release and hold harmless Laps & Yaps, its organizers, hosts, and fellow members from any claims, injuries, damages, or losses that may occur as a result of my participation.
* I understand that Laps & Yaps is a social community and not a professional coaching, medical, or lifeguard service. I am responsible for following all pool rules and venue policies.
* I agree to treat all members with kindness and respect. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the community.
* If I am under 18, I confirm that I have permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate.
