Every Thursday, Laugh & Pickle brings together two of the best stress relievers, comedy and pickleball. While comedians take the stage delivering live stand-up, the courts stay open so you can keep the games going all night. Play a few matches, grab a drink, catch a set, then jump back on the court.

It’s a laid-back night where you can rally with friends, enjoy great food and drinks, and take breaks to laugh along with the show. Whether you're here for the comedy, the competition, or a little of both, Laugh & Pickle is the perfect way to spend a Thursday night at The Woods.

The Woods Participant Waiver and Release of Liability

By registering for a membership, reserving a court, participating in an event, or entering the pickleball courts, roller skating rink, or activity areas at The Woods, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in recreational activities at The Woods, including but not limited to pickleball, roller skating, fitness classes, open play, leagues, tournaments, and other physical activities, involves inherent risks. These risks may include but are not limited to falls, collisions, equipment failure, physical exertion, or other injuries.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in activities at The Woods and acknowledge that such risks may result in injury, illness, property damage, or other loss.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless The Woods, Woods House Social Club, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, instructors, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising from participation in activities or use of the facilities.

This release includes claims resulting from negligence, except where prohibited by applicable law.

Health and Fitness

I affirm that I am physically capable of participating in recreational activities and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation. I understand it is my responsibility to consult with a medical professional if I have concerns about my health or fitness.

Equipment and Facility Use

I agree to use all courts, skating surfaces, equipment, and facilities responsibly and to follow all posted rules, staff instructions, and safety guidelines while at The Woods.

Minors

If registering a minor, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian and consent to the minor’s participation in activities at The Woods. I accept responsibility for the minor and agree to the terms of this waiver on their behalf.

Property and Personal Belongings

The Woods is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought onto the premises.

Photography and Media

I acknowledge that photographs or video recordings may be taken during activities or events at The Woods for marketing and promotional purposes. By participating, I grant permission for The Woods to use such media without compensation unless otherwise prohibited by law.

Agreement

By completing registration, purchasing a membership, or participating in activities through SweatPals or at The Woods, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this waiver and release of liability.
