Winter in the Pacific Northwest can be a time of restoration and reflection. It can also be isolating, heavy, and hard on mental health. LIFT is not a traditional fundraiser. It is an immersive, multi-room experience grounded in a simple truth: **Connection is essential to a healthy life**.&#x20;

Rather than a fixed agenda, the evening invites you into a self-directed journey through three distinct spaces, each designed to help people feel less alone, connect authentically, and leave feeling lighter than when they arrived:

* **The Sanctuary -** A shared, enlivening space for collective moments, lived-experience storytelling, and learning that reinforces one simple message. You are not alone.
* **The Meditation Hall -** A calm, restorative environment offering breathwork, meditation, reflection, and inner care. A place to slow down and safely feel whatever is present.
* **The Rooftop -** A warm, welcoming social space designed for ease and low-pressure connection. Conversation, art, and curated experiences help connection form naturally.

There is no required path and no “right” way to participate. You may move freely between rooms or settle into the one that feels most supportive. This is an intentionally flexible, human-centered experience guided by what feels right for you.

**Barb Bigalke 💗** Founder of the Center for Suicide Awareness speaks about the 15 year mission and creating connective community to support mental health.

**Jesse Coomer  🫁** A leading breathwork authority, bestselling author, and founder of Breathwork Tactics and The Language of Breath School, whose evidence-based work supports thousands in focus, resilience, and emotional regulation.

**Shree Saini  ✨** Miss World America and Miss World 1RU. She is a burns survivor and pacemaker patient, who has shared her message of grit and kindness in over 150 cities and 34 states. Educated at Harvard, Yale and University of Washington.

**A Benefit for the Center for Suicide Awareness**

LIFT is a fundraising benefit supporting the Center for Suicide Awareness (CSA), a national nonprofit established in 2010. CSA provides suicide prevention education, community resources, and operates the Hope Line, offering support, guidance, and connection to individuals and families in moments of need.

**One hundred percent of event proceeds go directly to CSA.** The evening will also include a silent and live auction. All donated items and monetary contributions are tax-deductible.

**This gathering is intentionally inclusive.** If the $10 ticket is all you are able to give, your presence matters and directly supports the mission. If you are in a position to give more through auction participation or additional donations, your generosity helps expand prevention efforts, education, and access to support.

**Why This Matters**

Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death in the United States, with nearly 50,000 lives lost each year. Washington State consistently reports suicide rates above the national average, and research continues to show that social isolation, disconnection, and lack of belonging significantly increase risk.

What the data and lived experience both make clear is this. **Community and connection are protective factors. When people feel seen, supported, and less alone, outcomes change.**

LIFT exists to create space for connection before a crisis. Presence before isolation.
