Lone Star Hiking Club is a welcoming hiking group based in Austin and connecting the community! First time or experienced at hiking, everyone is welcome to come anytime for our adventurous experiences! This is a good time after a week-long workweek to wind down and enjoy an expedition in nature to start the weekend! 

We meet at designated hiking locations throughout Austin on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings, then head to a post-hike hang-out location for food and drinks! This week we will be headed to Ants Beer Cave afterwards!

LSHC schedule:
- 6:30 - Meet at Mary Moore Searight Metro Park (at the main parking lot where the picnic building is at)
- 6:40 - Intros and Icebreakers
- 6:45 - Hike!
- 8:15 - Group photo
- 8:30 - Head to Ants Beer Cave!

This is a free event, only thing to keep in mind is parking spaces being potentially limited. Weather will be monitored throughout the week in the event if we needed to make any changes. Please make sure to wear comfortable footwear such as hiking shoes, as well as comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather. It is recommended to have available bug spray and/or sunscreen depending on the weather, we will also have a first aid kit available if ever needed!
