Whether you're new to Pilates or a seasoned practitioner, this class closely follows Joseph Pilates’ original Contrology sequence, with slight modifications to ensure safety and accessibility for all. Each movement is designed to lengthen, strengthen, and challenge your body while maintaining the integrity of the classical practice.

We’ll focus on the foundational principles of Pilates, including spinal alignment, breath control, and mindful movement, to help you deepen your understanding of the practice and enhance your overall strength and mobility.

YOGA PILATES CO. LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE AGREEMENT



This Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Yoga Pilates Co., Slate Studios, Viet Five, and the undersigned participant ("Participant"). By signing this Agreement, Participant acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:





1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK



I understand that participating in yoga, Pilates, and other fitness activities at Yoga Pilates Co. (including but not limited to classes at Slate Studios and Viet Five) involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, muscle strain, sprains, falls, equipment failure, and unforeseen injuries. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in these activities.





2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY



I hereby release, waive, and discharge Yoga Pilates Co., Slate Studios, Viet Five, their owners, employees, instructors, independent contractors, affiliates, and representatives (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, illness, damage, or loss I may sustain as a result of my participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.





3. MEDICAL DECLARATION



I confirm that I am physically capable of participating in yoga, Pilates, and fitness classes. I have no medical condition that would prevent my participation, and I assume full responsibility for consulting a physician before beginning any exercise program. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Yoga Pilates Co. to seek medical assistance on my behalf and release them from any liability related to such actions.





4. WAIVER OF CLAIMS



I agree that Yoga Pilates Co., Slate Studios, and Viet Five are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings during my participation in classes or events. I understand that participation is voluntary, and I waive any right to bring legal action against the Released Parties for any injury, loss, or damage incurred.





5. PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE (OPTIONAL)



I give permission for Yoga Pilates Co. to use photos or videos taken during classes for promotional purposes, including social media, marketing materials, and the company website.





6. AGREEMENT TO TERMS



I have read, understood, and voluntarily signed this Agreement. I acknowledge that by signing, I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue. This Agreement shall be binding upon me, my heirs, and legal representatives.
