Mats & Matcha Participant Waiver & Release of Liability

By registering for and participating in Mats & Matcha, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that participation in yoga, stretching, meditation, breathwork, wellness activities, walking, and any related physical activity involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strains, sprains, falls, dehydration, dizziness, heart-related events, allergic reactions, and other injuries that may result from participation.

I certify that I am physically able to participate and have consulted with a healthcare provider if I have any medical conditions or concerns that could affect my participation. I understand that it is my responsibility to participate within my own physical limits, modify movements as needed, and stop any activity if I experience pain, discomfort, or illness.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in Mats & Matcha and any activities conducted before, during, or after the event.

In consideration for being permitted to participate, I release, waive, and forever discharge The Local Habit Community Initiative Inc., Her Space Orlando, event organizers, instructors, volunteers, sponsors, venue partners, vendors, contractors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, actions, causes of action, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to any injury, illness, loss, damage, or death that may occur as a result of my participation, except where prohibited by applicable law or caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

I understand that emergency medical treatment may be sought on my behalf if deemed necessary, and I accept full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.

I understand that this event may be photographed and/or recorded. I grant permission to The Local Habit Community Initiative Inc. and its affiliates to use photographs, videos, or recordings of me for promotional, educational, marketing, and social media purposes without compensation.

I understand that my event registration is non-refundable except in the event that the organizer cancels the event. If I am unable to attend, my registration may not be transferred unless expressly approved by the organizer.

I agree to conduct myself respectfully toward instructors, volunteers, participants, vendors, and the venue. I understand that disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in my removal from the event without a refund.

I acknowledge that matcha and other refreshments may be served. It is my responsibility to inquire about ingredients and allergens. I understand that The Local Habit Community Initiative Inc. cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and assume all responsibility for any food or beverage-related reactions.

By checking the box below and submitting my registration, I acknowledge that I have carefully read this waiver in its entirety, fully understand its contents, voluntarily agree to its terms, and understand that this agreement is legally binding.
