Inclusions

Your own bunk in a real camp cabin, 2 nights

5 meals in the dining hall (Friday dinner; Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner; Sunday breakfast)

A full weekend of camp activities that may include: swimming in Lake LBJ, climbing wall, high ropes courses, kayaking and canoeing, pool access, hiking, frisbee golf, sand volleyball and pickup games

Campfires every night, with a s'mores night

Saturday night party with a DJ

Beer and seltzers: limited drink tickets per night

A Back to Bunks welcome bag including your own t-shirt

Friday

\- 5:00 PM: Gates open. Check in, find your cabin, claim your bunk.

\- 6:00PM: Dinner

\- 7:00 PM: Welcome Ceremony

\- 8:00 PM: Opening campfire



Saturday

\- 8:00 AM: Breakfast in the dining hall

\- 9:00 AM–4:00 PM: Activities with your group, lunch at noon, swim and free time in the afternoon

\- 4:00 PM: Camp Olympics

\- 6:00 PM: Dinner

\- 7:30 PM: Campfire, s'mores and camp awards

\- 9:00 PM: DJ set under the stars till 11&#x20;



Sunday

\- 8:30 AM: Breakfast

\- 9:30 AM: Closing circle, superlatives and one big group photo

\- 11:00 AM: Pack up and head home (reluctantly)



How it works

1\. Grab your spot on the Sweatpals app.&#x20;

2\. Show up Friday with supplies and a positive attitude. Campers must bring their own sleeping bag or twin sheets, pillow, towel, clothes you can get dirty, swimsuit, sneakers, sunscreen, bug spray, flashlight, snacks and a warm layer for the campfire. More details will be provided before check-in.&#x20;



Guidelines:

\- Bunkmates who sign up together can bunk together, subject to approval. Cabins are separated by gender and grouped by age.&#x20;

\- All campmates must adhere to the Back to Bunks and Camp Champions Code of Ethics

\- Must be 21+ years or older

\- No alcohol allowed outside of what is provided by Back to Bunks

\- No un-prescribed Drugs of any kind allowed on Camp premises

\- No smoking or vaping on Camp Premises

Back to Bunks Participant Waiver: Founding Campers Weekend

1. Event and parties
Please read this entire agreement carefully before signing. It affects your legal rights, including your right to sue.
This Participant Agreement, Release of Liability, and Assumption of Risk (the "Agreement") is between me, the undersigned participant ("I," "me," or "Participant"), and [BACK TO BUNKS LLC — exact legal name], a Texas limited liability company doing business as Back to Bunks ("Back to Bunks").
• Event: Back to Bunks Founding Campers Weekend (the "Event")
• Dates: Friday, March 12, 2027, 5:00 PM through Sunday, March 14, 2027, 11:00 AM
• Location: Champions Retreat at Camp Champions, 775 Camp Road, Marble Falls, Texas 78654 (the "Venue")
In exchange for being allowed to attend the Event, I agree to everything below. This Agreement covers the entire Event, including arrival, check-in, lodging, meals, activities, free time, and departure.

2. Acknowledgment and assumption of risks
I understand the Event is a physically active, outdoor, overnight camp experience at a rural property. Activities may include, but are not limited to:
• Climbing wall and high ropes course, at heights of up to 45 feet, using harnesses, cables, and belay systems
• Swimming in a lake, pool, or swim area; kayaking and canoeing; fishing
• Hiking and walking on uneven, natural terrain
• Team sports and games, including soccer, softball, touch football, volleyball, tennis, frisbee golf, tug of war, relay races, and water balloon games
• Campfires, bonfires, and open flames
• Sleeping in shared cabins with bunk beds, and eating food prepared by the Venue
I understand these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to: slips, trips, and falls; falls from height; equipment failure; collisions with people or objects; drowning or near-drowning; sprains, fractures, concussions, and other serious injuries; burns; heat exhaustion, dehydration, sunburn, and cold exposure; insect bites and stings, snakes, and wildlife; poisonous plants; allergic reactions to food or the environment; illness spread in shared spaces; severe weather, including lightning and flooding; and, in rare cases, permanent disability or death.
I understand the Venue is in a remote location, there is no nurse or medical staff on site, and emergency medical services may be delayed. Some activities are supervised by Venue staff; many are not. I am responsible for knowing my own physical limits, following all posted and verbal instructions, and choosing not to take part in any activity I am uncomfortable with.
I KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL OF THESE RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, EVEN IF CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES (DEFINED BELOW), AND I ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY PARTICIPATION.

3. Release of liability, waiver of claims, and indemnity
"Released Parties" means Back to Bunks and its owners, members, managers, employees, counselors, volunteers, contractors, and agents; and Champions Retreat at Camp Champions and its owners, directors, officers, staff, contractors, and agents.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, I, FOR MYSELF AND MY HEIRS, EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS, AND ASSIGNS, HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND AGREE NOT TO SUE THE RELEASED PARTIES FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES — INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, AND LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO MY ATTENDANCE AT OR PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT.
I EXPRESSLY INTEND THIS RELEASE TO INCLUDE CLAIMS CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES. This release does not apply to claims caused by a Released Party's gross negligence, willful misconduct, or criminal conduct.
I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASED PARTIES from any claims, costs, and attorneys' fees brought by me or anyone on my behalf, or by any third party, arising from my conduct, my breach of this Agreement, or damage I cause to the Venue or to others' property, including claims arising from the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties.
I understand Back to Bunks does not own or operate the Venue and is not responsible for the Venue's facilities, equipment, food, or staff. I also agree to sign any separate visitor agreement the Venue requires.

4. Health, medical care, and emergencies
• I confirm I am in good enough health to take part in the Event. I have disclosed below any medical condition, allergy, or medication that organizers should know about in an emergency.
• I will bring any medications I need, including an EpiPen or inhaler if prescribed.
• I authorize Back to Bunks and its staff to arrange or provide first aid, and to call emergency services or arrange transportation to a medical facility, if they believe I need it.
• I understand that I am solely responsible for all costs of any medical treatment, ambulance, or transportation I receive, whether or not I have insurance.
• I understand the Venue may be outside cell coverage in places and that response times for emergency services may be longer than in a city.

5. Age, alcohol, and code of conduct
• I confirm I am at least 21 years old and will show a valid photo ID at check-in if asked.
• Alcohol is permitted only at the times and places approved by the Venue. If Back to Bunks provides beer or seltzers, they are limited to the drink tickets issued. No hard liquor, illegal drugs, or glass outside approved areas.
• I am fully responsible for my own alcohol consumption and my conduct. I will not drink to the point of endangering myself or others. I will not take part in any activity, including climbing, ropes, swimming, or boating, while impaired.
• I will not drive after drinking. If I cannot drive safely, I will stay on site or arrange another ride.
• I will treat other campers, staff, and Venue property with respect. Harassment, discrimination, violence, or unwanted physical contact of any kind will not be tolerated.
• I will follow the Venue's rules, including quiet hours, restricted areas, and staff-only activities.
• Back to Bunks may remove me from any activity or from the Event, without refund, if organizers or the Venue decide my behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or violates these rules. If removed, I am responsible for my own transportation home.
• I am responsible for the cost of any damage I cause to the Venue or its property.

6. Photo and video release
Photographers and videographers may be at the Event. I grant Back to Bunks the right to photograph, film, and record me, and to use my name, image, likeness, and voice in any media, including social media, the Back to Bunks website, advertising, and promotional materials, without payment or further approval.
If I would rather not be featured, I will tell a Back to Bunks organizer at check-in, and they will make reasonable efforts to leave me out of promotional content. I understand I may still appear in the background of group photos.
7. General terms
• Schedule and activities may change. Weather, Venue availability, or safety concerns may cause activities to be changed or cancelled. Refunds, transfers, and rescheduling are governed by the ticket terms shown at purchase, not this Agreement.
• Personal property. The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
• Governing law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
• Severability. If any part of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in full force, and the invalid part will be enforced to the fullest extent allowed by law.
• Entire agreement. This is the entire agreement between me and Back to Bunks about the risks of the Event and replaces any prior statements. No one has made any promises to me that are not written here.
• Electronic signature. I agree that checking the boxes and typing my name below is my legal electronic signature and has the same effect as a handwritten signature.

8. Acknowledgment and signature
BY SIGNING BELOW, I CONFIRM THAT I HAVE READ THIS ENTIRE AGREEMENT, I UNDERSTAND IT, AND I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE THE RELEASED PARTIES FOR THEIR OWN NEGLIGENCE. I SIGN IT VOLUNTARILY.
