We’re halfway into 2024, a perfect opportunity to pause and check-in on our goals, dreams, intentions, and sense of self. 

What achievements are we proud of? What do we like about our current realities? Who are we working towards becoming? The retreat will serve as a white canvas to go inward, reflect, and plan for the rest of the year ahead. One primary symbol of the retreat is water. Water not only connects with the Mediterranean sea and with Lake Michigan but will also serve as a symbol of flowing through life’s changes and letting go of what doesn’t serve us.

Join us for the Mediterranean Wellness Retreat by Strength in the City x Burn & Breathe: a fun, grounding, and awakening one-day retreat designed for you to expand your relationship to self through the power of community. 

This is not your average retreat. Nor is it merely just exercise oriented. It is a unique, curated experience that will both lift you up and ground you. You’ll engage in outdoor fitness classes and spiritual rituals while contemplating the lake; enjoy delicious, nourishing, and inclusive meals; and immerse yourself in a secluded, spectacular, and inviting venue. 

We want to give you a sip of the Mediterranean summer without leaving the city, an opportunity to bathe your mind, body, and spirit in the joy of the summer, and many self-expansion tools to use in your day-to-day life. 

The only thing we can guarantee is that you will leave this retreat renewed, lightened, more alive, and with new relationships that align with what you seek in life: intention, connection, and constant self-expansion.

9:00 AM: Arrival
9:30 AM: Liquid Vitality Station / mini breakfast 
Affirmation wall: Affirm the life you wish to attract through impactful phrases.
10:00 AM: Welcome circle (75 min): Introduce yourself and learn about the other epic humans attending the event through a fun, engaging, and meaningful welcome activity.
11:30 AM: Movement 45 minute, Burn & Breathe Method led by Ash 
12:15 PM: Visualization Meditation + Sound bath (30 min): Get ready to embark on a savasana like you’ve never before: visualizing your past, present, and future self. Dare to dream beyond the boundaries of your imagination!
1:00 PM: Lunch & mocktails 
2:00 PM: Diving Within Journaling workshop: Let’s go inward on an introspection and self-awareness journey through the cathartic tool of journaling. 
3:15 PM: Shedding + Blooming ritual: Let go of what doesn’t serve you through the powerful symbol of water. Bloom your biggest dreams through the power of flowers.
3:45 PM: Cold Plunge
5:00 PM: Ear seeding acupuncture
