Run & Recover Event Waiver & Release of Liability

By registering for and participating in the Brasil Run Club Miami Run & Recover event (“Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participating in running, fitness activities, wellness experiences, and recovery activations—including but not limited to a 5K run, cold plunge, massage therapy, compression boots, stretching, fitness classes, and any other activities offered during the Event—involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, dehydration, illness, property damage, serious injury, or death.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the Event.

2. Medical Fitness

I certify that I am physically capable of participating in the Event and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.

I understand that I am solely responsible for determining whether I am physically able to participate.

3. Release of Liability

In consideration of being allowed to participate, I release and discharge Brasil Run Club, Gold Chris LLC, the event venue, sponsors, partners, volunteers, staff, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation, including those resulting from ordinary negligence.

4. Personal Responsibility

I agree to participate responsibly, follow all instructions provided by event staff, respect other participants, and immediately stop participating if I feel unsafe or experience any medical issues.

5. Emergency Medical Care

If I become injured or require emergency medical attention, I authorize event staff to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

6. Photography & Media Release

I understand that photographs and videos will be taken throughout the Event.

By participating, I grant Brasil Run Club and its partners permission to photograph, film, and use my name, image, voice, and likeness for promotional, marketing, social media, advertising, and other lawful business purposes without compensation.

7. Wellness Activations

I understand that recovery and wellness services provided during the Event—including but not limited to cold plunge, massages, compression therapy, vitamin injections, stretching, or other wellness experiences—are optional.

I understand that these services are provided by independent vendors or partners and I participate at my own risk. Brasil Run Club is not responsible for any injury, reaction, or outcome resulting from these services.

8. Refund Policy

I understand that all ticket sales are final and non-refundable unless the Event is canceled by the organizer.

9. Age Requirement

Participants must be at least 18 years old to register unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who accepts this waiver on their behalf.

10. Agreement

By checking the waiver box during registration or by participating in the Event, I acknowledge that:

* I have read and fully understand this waiver.
* I voluntarily agree to its terms.
* I understand I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to sue.

I acknowledge that this agreement is binding upon myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.
