## **<u>Mind Space Wednesdays Weekly Community Run</u>**

Join us every Wednesday at 7 PM at PSJA Bears Trail in San Juan, TX for Mind Space Wednesday's a free, community-based group run focused on mental wellness, movement, and connection.

All paces are welcome. Whether you walk, jog, or run, you move at your own pace. We start together and finish together.

Each session includes:
• Light group warm-up
• Optional distance at your own pace
• Post-run group reflection focused on mental growth and accountability

This is a safe, supportive environment designed to help you reset midweek and build consistency, physically and mentally.

## ⚠️ Participation Notice

Participation is voluntary. All attendees must RSVP and complete a liability waiver prior to participating. By attending, you acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for your own physical condition and hydration
• You understand running and walking outdoors carries inherent risks
• Mind Space Running / Mind Space LLC is not responsible for injuries, lost items, or individual consumption of provided beverages

Water may be available but is not guaranteed. Energy drink consumption is at your own discretion.

Our group run will be energized by Redbull, free red bull will be available at run.

Weekly Wednesday Group Run

Participant Waiver & Release of Liability

Event Description:
 Mind Space Running hosts a free, voluntary weekly community group run every Wednesday at 7PM at a public park location. Participants may walk, jog, or run at their own pace. The group gathers to start and finish together, may participate in optional group stretching, and may engage in a voluntary group reflection discussion at the end of the run.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I understand that participation in physical activity, including walking, jogging, running, stretching, and outdoor group exercise, involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to:
Slips, trips, and falls


Uneven terrain or park conditions


Weather-related conditions (heat, humidity, rain, etc.)


Collisions with other participants, pedestrians, cyclists, or vehicles


Dehydration, heat exhaustion, or other medical conditions


Consumption of beverages or products provided at the event


I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in Mind Space Running events.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration for being permitted to participate, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless:
Mind Space LLC and Mind Space Running
Event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates
from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to:
Personal injury
Illness
Death
Property damage
Loss or theft of personal items

whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by Texas law.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

I acknowledge:
Participation is completely voluntary.

I am responsible for determining whether I am physically fit to participate.


I will run, walk, or jog at my own pace.


I am responsible for my own hydration and medical needs.


Water availability is not guaranteed.


Any consumption of energy drinks or sponsor-provided products is at my own risk.


Mind Space LLC does not provide medical supervision.

PUBLIC PARK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I understand this event takes place in a public park and that Mind Space Running does not control park conditions, traffic, or the actions of third parties.

SAFE SPACE & REFLECTION DISCUSSIONS

I understand that post-run group reflections are voluntary and not therapy, counseling, or professional mental health services.

PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE (Optional Section You Should Include)
I grant permission to Mind Space LLC to use photographs and videos taken during events for promotional purposes.

INDEMNIFICATION

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mind Space LLC from any claims arising from my participation.

AGREEMENT

By signing below, I acknowledge that:
I have read this waiver in full.
