Get ready for Nashville Murph, 2026! Nashville's biggest Murph event. The "Murph" workout is performed to honor Lt. Michael Murphy. It consists of a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, and another 1-mile run, usually in a 20lb weight vest. Come out the morning of May 25th to be a part of this epic event! 

We would love it if you would come out to honor the military personnel who have died in service for our great country.

Along with The Murph workout, we will have vendors, food trucks, and maybe even some prizes! Hosted by For The Veteran and Nashville Performance Club.

All proceeds will go to the  LT. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation.

I, the undersigned participant, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in outdoor fitness activities involves inherent risks under Tennessee law, including but not limited to physical exertion, injury, illness, falls, contact with other participants, weather conditions, and uneven terrain. I voluntarily and knowingly assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with my participation.

Health Certification
I certify that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent my safe participation in this event. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my health and well-being and agree to discontinue participation if I experience pain, dizziness, or any medical concern.

Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the State of Tennessee, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the following parties:

-Cornelia Airpark and its governing authorities

-For The Veteran

-Nashville Performance Center

-Any and all vendors, sponsors, instructors, volunteers, agents, representatives, or affiliated organizations associated with this event

from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, illness, or death that may be sustained by me, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, while participating in or attending this event.

Indemnification
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless all released parties from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to my participation, to the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law.

Acknowledgment of Tennessee Legal Standards
I understand that Tennessee law generally enforces properly executed liability waivers for ordinary negligence but does not permit the waiver of liability for gross negligence, reckless conduct, or intentional misconduct. I acknowledge that this waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted under Tennessee law.

Photo/Media Release
I grant and authorize Nashville Murph, For The Veteran, and Nashville Performance Club (“Photographer/Organization”) the irrevocable right to photograph, record, and use my image, likeness, and voice in any media for lawful purposes including marketing, advertising, and promotion, without compensation. I understand that all images are the property of the Photographer/Organization and may be edited, published, or distributed without restriction. I hereby release and discharge the Photographer/Organization from any and all claims, including those related to privacy, publicity, or defamation. I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age, or I am the parent/legal guardian providing consent on behalf of a minor. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of

Compliance with Rules
I agree to follow all instructions, rules, and safety guidelines provided by event organizers and staff.

Severability
If any provision of this waiver is held invalid or unenforceable under Tennessee law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Governing Law and Venue
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any legal action arising from this agreement shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Tennessee.

I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT. I SIGN THIS AGREEMENT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.
