GET OUTSIDE When the going gets tough, the tough go running. Every Tuesday NERC runs 52 weeks/year and we never cancel for weather. If it's raining, we're training. When the frost bites, we bite back. And in the heat of summer, we make waves. Step outside your comfort zone and join us for a fun gr BE ACTIVE Your race, your pace. No matter if you're a first-timer or a day-one, we're out there every week celebrating you showing up sharing the [s]miles. With over 100 miles of run-friendly trails and pathways, 210 city parks, 2 massive state parks, the infamous oceanfront Boardwalk, 28 miles of public beaches, and not to mention the hundreds of landmarks, historical places, and great local businesses our city of Virginia Beach has to offer – it's easy to log off, shut down, and get outside to explore your city.
