"SplashBros Pickleball Waiver & Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in any SplashBros Pickleball event—including but not limited to tournaments, open play, clinics, leagues, and social gatherings—I, the undersigned participant (or the parent/legal guardian of a minor participant), intending to be legally bound, do hereby agree to the following:

1. Waiver and Release

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in SplashBros Pickleball events and fully release and forever discharge SplashBros Pickleball, its organizers, volunteers, event staff, sponsors, and all owners, operators, employees, or representatives of any facility, venue, or location used for SplashBros Pickleball events from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that may be sustained by me or my property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, before, during, or after any event.

This release is binding upon my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

2. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that playing pickleball and participating in associated activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: slips, falls, collisions, equipment failure, adverse weather conditions, and physical exertion. I affirm that I am in good health, physically fit, and properly trained for participation. I accept full responsibility for any personal injuries or property damage that may occur.

I agree to follow all rules and safety guidelines and to abide by the decisions of any event officials, referees, or organizers regarding participation.

3. Medical Consent

In the event of a medical emergency, I hereby authorize the Event Director or designated personnel to secure necessary medical treatment on my behalf, including but not limited to first aid, transportation, emergency medical services, hospitalization, and/or surgery. I accept full financial responsibility for any such treatment.

4. Communicable Disease Acknowledgment

I agree to comply with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations, as well as any local, state, or venue-specific health and safety guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases. I acknowledge and voluntarily accept the risks of exposure inherent in group settings.

5. Media Release

I grant permission to SplashBros Pickleball and its authorized agents to use my name, voice, likeness, and/or image in any photographs, videos, live broadcasts, or promotional content created during events, without compensation.

6. Refund & Event Policy

I understand and agree that:

All entry fees and membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Events may be postponed, rescheduled, or canceled due to weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be issued in these cases.

Event details, including format, location, and structure, are subject to change at the discretion of the organizers without prior notice.

By signing below (or by submitting this waiver electronically), I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all of the above terms. If the participant is under 18 years of age, this release must be signed by a parent or legal guardian."
