SplashBros Pickleball Waiver, Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk

In consideration of being permitted to participate in any SplashBros Pickleball activity—including but not limited to tournaments, leagues, clinics, open play, practices, social events, and related gatherings—I, the undersigned participant (or parent/legal guardian of a minor), acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following:

1. Waiver & Release of Liability

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in SplashBros Pickleball activities and hereby waive, release, and forever discharge SplashBros Pickleball and all affiliated parties, including but not limited to:

* Organizers and event directors
* Volunteers and staff
* Contractors and referees
* Business partners and sponsors
* Vendors and service providers
* Facility owners, operators, and venue representatives
* Any other club affiliates or associates


from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, losses, injuries (including death), or causes of action, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, that may occur before, during, or after participation in any event.

This release shall be binding upon my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.


2. Assumption of Risk

I understand that pickleball and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions with players or equipment, weather-related hazards, physical exertion, and facility conditions.

I affirm that I am physically capable of participating, assume full responsibility for my health and safety, and agree to comply with all rules, safety guidelines, and decisions made by event officials or organizers.


3. Food & Beverage Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that any food or beverages consumed at or in connection with SplashBros Pickleball events are consumed voluntarily and at my own discretion. SplashBros Pickleball does not prepare, regulate, or control all food or drink offerings.
Any alcoholic beverages provided at SplashBros Pickleball events, if any, are offered free of charge and are not sold. I understand that I am solely responsible for my decision to consume alcohol and agree to do so responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws.
SplashBros Pickleball and all affiliated parties are not responsible or liable for any illness, injury, allergic reaction, intoxication, or adverse health outcome related to food or beverage consumption.

4. Medical Consent
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize SplashBros Pickleball organizers or designated personnel to obtain medical treatment on my behalf. I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for all medical expenses incurred.


5. Communicable Disease Acknowledgment

I acknowledge the risk of exposure to communicable diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19, inherent in group activities. I agree to follow applicable CDC, local, state, and venue health guidelines and voluntarily assume all related risks.

6. Media Release
I grant permission for SplashBros Pickleball to use my name, image, likeness, and/or voice captured during events for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes, without compensation.

7. Refund & Event Policy
I understand and agree that:

* All registration fees, dues, and event payments are non-refundable and non-transferable
* Events may be modified, postponed, rescheduled, or canceled due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances
* No refunds will be issued for schedule or format changes

By signing below or submitting this waiver electronically, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms outlined above.

If the participant is under 18 years of age, this waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
