Join LULA and Paddle Club for a morning of movement, play, and community with our Pickleball and Pilates event.

Check-in begins at 9:30 AM, followed by a Pilates class from 10:00–10:50 AM, open to all levels. This is a bring your own mat event, with a limited number of mats available on-site. After class, guests can transition into open pickleball play, running through 1:00 PM.

Throughout the event, enjoy a curated lineup of local vendors, including wellness and recovery activations, along with a live DJ setting the tone for the morning.

LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK


PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT THAT AFFECTS YOUR RIGHTS.

By checking the box and continuing, I acknowledge and agree as follows:


ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that participation in pickleball, fitness activities, leagues, clinics, events, open play, and the use of Paddle Club LLC’s facilities, premises, and equipment involves inherent risks. These risks may include slips, trips, falls, collisions with other participants, equipment failure or misuse, overexertion, dehydration, heat-related illness, and other hazards that may result in serious injury, illness, paralysis, or death. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, including risks arising from the negligence of Paddle Club LLC or others, to the fullest extent permitted by Texas law.


WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of being allowed to enter and participate at Paddle Club LLC, I hereby waive, release, and forever discharge Paddle Club LLC, its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, or causes of action of any kind, whether known or unknown, including those arising from negligence, that relate in any way to my participation, presence, or use of Paddle Club LLC’s facilities, premises, or equipment, to the maximum extent permitted by law.


MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY

I represent that I am physically able to participate safely in activities at Paddle Club LLC. I understand that Paddle Club LLC does not provide medical advice or medical insurance. I accept full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred as a result of my participation and consent to emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary.


ALCOHOL RESPONSIBILITY (IF APPLICABLE)

If alcohol is served or permitted at Paddle Club LLC, including beer, wine, or BYOB, I acknowledge that consumption is voluntary and solely my responsibility. I agree not to participate in activities or operate a vehicle while impaired and accept full responsibility for all actions, injuries, or damages arising from alcohol consumption.


INDEMNIFICATION

I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Paddle Club LLC from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses, including attorney fees, arising out of or related to my participation, presence, or actions at Paddle Club LLC, including claims brought by third parties.


IMAGE & MEDIA RELEASE

I grant Paddle Club LLC the irrevocable right to photograph, record, livestream, or otherwise capture my name, image, voice, or likeness for promotional, marketing, training, or archival purposes without compensation. I waive any right to inspect or approve such materials.


MINORS

If I am signing on behalf of a minor, I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor and have full authority to execute this agreement on the minor’s behalf. I agree that this waiver and release applies fully to the minor and I release and indemnify Paddle Club LLC from any claims arising from the minor’s participation, including claims based on negligence.


ARBITRATION & CLASS ACTION WAIVER

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this agreement or my participation at Paddle Club LLC shall be resolved exclusively by binding individual arbitration in the State of Texas and governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. I waive the right to a jury trial and agree that no class actions, collective actions, or representative proceedings may be brought.


ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By signing, I acknowledge that I am at least 18 years of age or the legal guardian of a minor, that I have carefully read and fully understand this agreement, that I am signing it voluntarily, and that I understand I am giving up important legal rights, including the right to sue.
