open play is our social take on bala—a fun, fast, and friendly pickup soccer experience designed to bring more people together through the game. it’s small-sided soccer with a twist: no scores, no pressure—just 4-minute rotations, good vibes, and even better people. think movement, music, and moments that remind you why you fell in love with the game. this is your chance to kick it, meet new teammates, and just have fun. all levels welcome.
🕒 session format
 • 60 minutes of continuous play
 • 5 vs 5 max for indoor
 • 7 vs 7 max for outdoor
 • up to 25 players
🔁 style of play
 • 4-minute rounds
 • teams rotate on the sideline so everyone mixes and plays together (no set teams)
 • we don’t count goals but we celebrate them
 • small court, small goals, weighted size 3 ball
 • max 3 wins before a team rotates off
 • more players = more vibes
⚽ game rules (on the field)
 • stay on your feet and out of the goals
 • no defending in corners, be cool on the sidelines
 • keep the ball down
 • entire team must be over the half-line for a goal to count
 • shooter shags
 • we’ve got a few colors, but we’re all on the same team—check your ego on the sideline
