Please read the following before participating in Pilates & Lattes. Our goal is to provide a fun, welcoming, and safe experience for everyone.

Voluntary Participation & Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that Pilates & Lattes includes physical activity, including a Pilates-based workout, stretching, balance exercises, and other movements that may vary in intensity.

I understand that participation in physical activity involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, strains, sprains, falls, dizziness, dehydration, and other injuries that may occur during exercise.

I voluntarily choose to participate and accept the ordinary risks associated with this type of physical activity.

Personal Health & Responsibility

I understand that I am responsible for determining whether I am physically able to participate in the event.

I agree to listen to my body, work at an appropriate intensity, use modifications when needed, and stop exercising if I experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath beyond what is expected during exercise, or any other concerning symptoms.

If I have an injury, medical condition, am pregnant, recently postpartum, or have another circumstance that may affect my ability to exercise safely, I understand that I should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before participating when necessary and inform the instructor of any relevant limitations before class.

Outdoor & Environmental Conditions

I understand that portions of the event may take place outdoors or in conditions affected by weather. Potential risks may include heat, humidity, sun exposure, wet or uneven surfaces, insects, and changing weather conditions.

I am responsible for bringing appropriate clothing, footwear, water, sun protection, and any other personal items I may need.

Event organizers may modify, pause, relocate, postpone, or cancel activities if conditions are considered unsafe.

Food, Coffee & Beverages

I understand that coffee, food, beverages, samples, or other products may be provided or sold by independent vendors.

I am responsible for considering my own allergies, sensitivities, dietary restrictions, and caffeine tolerance before consuming any product. I understand that questions regarding ingredients or allergens should be directed to the vendor providing the product.

Personal Belongings

I am responsible for my personal belongings during the event. I understand that the event organizers are not responsible for items that are lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged, except where responsibility cannot legally be waived.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and hold harmless the event organizer, instructor, venue, and their respective employees, contractors, and representatives from claims arising from the ordinary and inherent risks of my voluntary participation in the fitness activities at Pilates & Lattes.

This release does not waive claims that cannot legally be waived, including liability resulting from gross negligence, reckless conduct, or intentional misconduct where applicable.

Emergency Assistance

If I become injured or ill during the event and am unable to make decisions for myself, I authorize event personnel to contact emergency medical services when reasonably necessary. I understand that I am responsible for medical expenses incurred on my behalf to the extent permitted by law.
