Event Waiver & Release of Liability
By registering for Pi-Lattes, Pumpkins & Pints on October 31, 2026, at Crooked Can Brewing Company in Minneola, Florida, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Physical Activity & Assumption of Risk
I understand that the 45-minute mat Pilates class led by Move with Maria involves physical activity that carries inherent risks, including muscle strains, sprains, falls, and other injuries. I voluntarily choose to participate, accept these risks, and agree to work within my personal abilities, modify movements as needed, and stop if I experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
2. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, I agree to release and hold harmless Move with Maria, Maria Rodriguez, Three Birds Cafe, Crooked Can Brewing Company, and their respective owners, employees, instructors, and representatives from claims arising from my participation in the event, including ordinary negligence, to the extent legally permissible. This release does not apply to liability that cannot legally be waived.
3. Health & Emergencies
I confirm that I am responsible for determining whether I am fit to participate. I will seek medical advice if needed and notify the instructor of any relevant limitations. In an emergency, I authorize event personnel to contact emergency services on my behalf.
4. Complimentary Beverage & Alcohol Policy
My ticket includes one canned latte from Three Birds Cafe OR one complimentary beer from Crooked Can Brewing Company. The beer option is available only to attendees aged 21 or older who can legally consume alcohol and may be subject to ID verification. Alcohol is optional, and I agree to consume it responsibly. I will not participate in physical activity while impaired or drive under the influence.
5. Personal Belongings
I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings. The released parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6. Acknowledgment & Consent
By checking the waiver agreement box during registration, I confirm that I have read and understood this waiver, voluntarily accept its terms, and understand that it affects certain legal rights.
I understand that this waiver does not exclude any rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
