Play Ground is a monthly women’s community celebration centered around somatic expression, play, and communal healing. It is a space to reconnect with your inner child, the part of you that knows how to play, express freely, and belong without effort.



Through thoughtful facilitation, movement, breath, communal singing, dancing, laughter, and playful moments of authentic connection, women are invited to step out of performance and into presence. To move. To feel. To laugh. To reconnect with themselves and each other.

EVENT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
Release of Liability & Media Consent

This Event is designed as a space for connection, conversation, reflection, creativity, and community. Activities may include extended standing, movement, dancing, facilitated discussion, or emotionally reflective experiences.

By attending, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and agree to take responsibility for your own well-being and conduct during the Event.

1. Voluntary Participation & Personal Responsibility

Participation is voluntary. You are responsible for listening to your body and honoring your emotional capacity. You may step away, modify, or opt out of any activity at any time.

You accept full responsibility for your physical, emotional, and mental well-being during the Event.

This Event is not therapy or medical care, and Mission Serendipity LLC does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic services.

2. Assumption of Risk

You understand that in-person events carry inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, injury from movement or dancing, emotional discomfort, interaction with other participants, exposure to illness, and loss or damage to personal property.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending and participating in the Event.

3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Mission Serendipity LLC, and its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, venue partners, sponsors, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to your participation in the Event.

This includes claims for personal injury, illness, emotional distress, property damage, or loss resulting from ordinary negligence.

You understand that this Release includes any and all claims based on the negligence, action, or inaction of Mission Serendipity LLC or its representatives.

You expressly waive any rights under California Civil Code Section 1542, which states:

"A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in their favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by them must have materially affected their settlement with the debtor."

4. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mission Serendipity LLC and its representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your actions or conduct during the Event.

5. Health & Readiness

You affirm that you feel physically and mentally able to participate in the Event.

If you have any condition that may affect your participation, you agree to consult a healthcare professional and take appropriate precautions.

Mission Serendipity LLC relies on your self-assessment and does not screen participants for health conditions.

6. Community Conduct

You agree to treat others with dignity and respect, refrain from harassment or unsafe behavior, follow venue rules and applicable laws, and take responsibility for alcohol consumption if applicable.

Mission Serendipity LLC reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or harmful, without refund.

7. Medical Authorization

In the event of a medical emergency, you authorize Mission Serendipity LLC to seek emergency medical care on your behalf if necessary and agree to be financially responsible for any resulting medical expenses.

8. Personal Property

You are responsible for your personal belongings. Mission Serendipity LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

9. Photography & Media

The Event may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded.

By attending, you grant Mission Serendipity LLC the perpetual, irrevocable right to use your image, likeness, voice, and statements for promotional, archival, educational, or commercial purposes in any media format without compensation. You waive the right to inspect or approve final materials.

If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, you agree to notify Mission Serendipity LLC in writing prior to or at the start of the Event. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request. Participants who opt out may be asked to wear a visual identifier during the Event.

10. Cancellation & Refunds

By registering for the Event, you agree to the Event’s Cancellation and Refund Policy available at:

Unless otherwise stated in writing, registrations are non-refundable but may be transferred with prior written notice.

If Mission Serendipity LLC cancels the Event, registration fees will be refunded. Mission Serendipity LLC is not responsible for travel, lodging, or related expenses.

11. Force Majeure

Mission Serendipity LLC is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, venue closures, labor disputes, or other unforeseen events.

12. Age Requirement

You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or are attending with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Acknowledgment

By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement carefully, fully understand its terms, and voluntarily agree to be bound by it. You understand that you are releasing certain legal rights.
